Bottled, 500ml, pasteurised from Waitrose, Witney, Oxon. Gold to Ginger with short white head, highly carbonated. Is it beer? It’s certainly quite strange but not unpleasant. It tastes a little lemonade like, fizzed, with a background sweetness and a tangy, hot ginger note. Light and thin, but as i say not totally unpleasant.

Bottle. Golden / orange colour with no head. Aroma is ginger, malt. flavour is ginger, sugar, malt, lime. Not my kind of beer.

330 ml bottle. Light golden colour. Clear, but there is a little something that resembles a haze. Small white coarse head. Strong ginger and lime aroma. Crisp carbonation and a sharp ginger flavoured bite. Light-bodied. Reminds me a little of a vodka infused drink, except there is very little alcohol in this beer. Very fizzy texture. Green citrus aftertaste. Finishes somewhat sweet with fruit syrup flavours. Very odd indeed.

Bottle. Pours a clear, golden, with a minimal white head. The aroma has lime and ginger, and I can’t find anything else, thus making it as interesting as a German radler. The flavor is mostly the same, with a little bitterness in the background. Medium to thin body. Sweetish, lime-like finish with a little ginger note. I can understand that someone want’s to brew something like this, but why on earth would a Norwegian importer go for this when there are at least 10000 other, more interesting beers available on bottle? TheGrandMaster (2335) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - JUL 1, 2007
Bottle, pours a golen colour, with some carbonation and pillowy bubbly head. A strong ginger-ale aroma with spicy ginger. Very sweet and syrupy in the mouth and a harsh chemical finish. Pass me a Bundaberg please.

330 ml bottle. Spritzy pale golden body, instantly dying white head. Artificial sweetener and ginger aroma. Taste is like a spiced alco-pop. Avoidable.

330 ml bottle. Golden color, fast vanishing white head. It´s ginger and fake sweetness all the way, and I don´t like it.

330 ml green bottle, as "Classic Gingers Beer / Piwo Imbirowe". Courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. Original gravity 11.8%, ABV is 4.1%. Admixtures: E300 anti-oxidant, caramel E150c-colour, apple acid E296 acidity regulator. Contains barley malt, sugar and sweetening substances: glucose syrup, E950, E951. Contains a source of phenylalanine. In other words: not quite "Reinheitsgebot" .... Good grief! Crystal clear pale golden colour, with relatively big bubbles. Fizzy and foamy head that dies out completely after a while. Strong sweetish aroma of ginger, glucose syrup and disgusting chemical stuff. The flavour is also very sweet, but not really disgusting - it has a lot in common with the softdrink / mixer ginger "ale". There’s just a weak notion that the basis of this drink is actually a beer. People who really like "ginger ale" might like this beer too. I’ll pass, thank you.

Bottle. Crispy white fluffy and quickly disappearing head. Clear golden body. Powerful ginger aroma. Pretty sweet ginger flavor with a good deal of carbonation.

Golden clear cololur with a weak head. Very strong nose of ginger. Flavour of fresh ginger and sweet maltness. Someway special but very refreshing.
