Bottled, 500ml, pasteurised from Waitrose, Witney, Oxon. Gold to Ginger with short white head, highly carbonated. Is it beer? It’s certainly quite strange but not unpleasant. It tastes a little lemonade like, fizzed, with a background sweetness and a tangy, hot ginger note. Light and thin, but as i say not totally unpleasant. gunnfryd (14877) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - AUG 10, 2007
Bottle. Golden / orange colour with no head. Aroma is ginger, malt. flavour is ginger, sugar, malt, lime. Not my kind of beer. Gr0ve (2177) - Oslo, NORWAY - AUG 3, 2007
330 ml bottle. Light golden colour. Clear, but there is a little something that resembles a haze. Small white coarse head. Strong ginger and lime aroma. Crisp carbonation and a sharp ginger flavoured bite. Light-bodied. Reminds me a little of a vodka infused drink, except there is very little alcohol in this beer. Very fizzy texture. Green citrus aftertaste. Finishes somewhat sweet with fruit syrup flavours. Very odd indeed. yngwie (17053) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUL 23, 2007
Bottle. Pours a clear, golden, with a minimal white head. The aroma has lime and ginger, and I can’t find anything else, thus making it as interesting as a German radler. The flavor is mostly the same, with a little bitterness in the background. Medium to thin body. Sweetish, lime-like finish with a little ginger note. I can understand that someone want’s to brew something like this, but why on earth would a Norwegian importer go for this when there are at least 10000 other, more interesting beers available on bottle? Bottle, pours a golen colour, with some carbonation and pillowy bubbly head. A strong ginger-ale aroma with spicy ginger. Very sweet and syrupy in the mouth and a harsh chemical finish. Pass me a Bundaberg please.

330 ml bottle. Spritzy pale golden body, instantly dying white head. Artificial sweetener and ginger aroma. Taste is like a spiced alco-pop. Avoidable. tarjei (1954) - Bryne, NORWAY - JUN 22, 2007
330 ml bottle. Golden color, fast vanishing white head. It´s ginger and fake sweetness all the way, and I don´t like it. Sigmund (7511) - Tau, NORWAY - JUN 10, 2007
330 ml green bottle, as "Classic Gingers Beer / Piwo Imbirowe". Courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. Original gravity 11.8%, ABV is 4.1%. Admixtures: E300 anti-oxidant, caramel E150c-colour, apple acid E296 acidity regulator. Contains barley malt, sugar and sweetening substances: glucose syrup, E950, E951. Contains a source of phenylalanine. In other words: not quite "Reinheitsgebot" .... Good grief!
Crystal clear pale golden colour, with relatively big bubbles. Fizzy and foamy head that dies out completely after a while. Strong sweetish aroma of ginger, glucose syrup and disgusting chemical stuff. The flavour is also very sweet, but not really disgusting - it has a lot in common with the softdrink / mixer ginger "ale". There’s just a weak notion that the basis of this drink is actually a beer. People who really like "ginger ale" might like this beer too. I’ll pass, thank you. Skinnyviking (9570) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 19, 2007
Bottle. Crispy white fluffy and quickly disappearing head. Clear golden body. Powerful ginger aroma. Pretty sweet ginger flavor with a good deal of carbonation. Storm (2684) - Amager, DENMARK - MAR 24, 2007
Golden clear cololur with a weak head. Very strong nose of ginger. Flavour of fresh ginger and sweet maltness. Someway special but very refreshing.
