Very good brew. Complex and well-balanced flavors including malt, grain, fruity sourness and a gentle bitter aftertaste. Very much to my liking.

Bottled. Foggy golden colour, rocky white head. Excellent retention. Fruity & yeasty aroma. Sourish apples, pears, minor banana & spices. Medium body. Light sweet malty taste. Candy sugar. Interesting sourish fruitiness along. Dry ending with light to medium spicy bitterness. An interesting one.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Light yellow, hazy with a tiny bit of white head. Light yeasty bready smell with some lemongrass. Taste is a bit more lively, with some spicy sweetness reeled in by sourness right at the finish. Lemon curd notes with some coriander in the aftertaste. Competent but not over-exciting.

Bottle of 33cl, in a Trappist glass; from the fridge. Nice strong blond beer, with a fuzzy white head. The aroma is fruity, with notes of malt. The taste is mainly hoppy and yeasty : fruity, strong. The aftertaste is the same as the taste. Overall it is a really great beer, and you will spend a nice time drinking it.

From 0.33 L bottle; pours murky, dark yellow to orange coloured with a white head. Heavy yeasty aroma. Typical Belgian yeast in the beginning, grainy taste follows, sweetness and caramel, light bread. A bit short finish, yeasty. Medium to full body with lively carbonation, creamy but slightly thin mouthfeel. It’s OK, kind of typical Belgian ale.

SylvainCFC (324) - Brussels, BELGIUM - FEB 22, 2017
Note de raison, lychee.

F: big, white, good retention. C: deep gold, light hazy. A: malt, light orange, spicy, light bread, floral, yeast, hint of tropical fruits, dusty. T: malt, spicy, grassy, floral, light orange, peach, sweetbread, caramel, medium to full body, medium carbonation, good balanced and tasty, taste is much better than the weak aroma, 0,33l bottle from Prik&Tik Kampenhout.

33cl bottle. Pours clear dark golden colour with a huge good lasting off-white head. Aroma of floral malt, ripe fruits. Taste of spicy and floral malt, some metallic hops, tart fruits, strange!

adamnowek (3195) - Brussels, BELGIUM - MAY 30, 2016
Standard tripel. Only difference is the taste is a bit like a sour tin can.
