Bottle @ Benzai. Orange to amber colour, big white head. Smells weird.. Malts, musty.. Tastes sweet, malty, perfume, blossom, slightly soapy. Medium body, good carbo.

Semi hazy golden liquid, strong, airy head. Aroma of citrus. Light body, average carbonation. Taste is bitter and a bit sour.

Bottle of 33cl, in a Trappist glass; from the fridge. Good and refreshing amber beer but too sweet aroma and taste. The colour is a super dark orange / copper colour, with a very fast, fuzzy white head. Bof.

Bottled, tnx Viktor!. Color is light amber, with average beige head. lacing. Wheaty yeasty nose. Aroma is grains, wheat and spices. Flavour is the same with a flat finish. Alcohol is hidden, no stingy mouthfeel.

Note de mandarine, de pamplemousse. Petite touche de froment, légère acidité. Finale très courte. Texture moyenne, corpulence moyenne.

3.3
Hopverdju (1191) - BELGIUM - FEB 22, 2017
Amberkleurig bier met romige crèmekleurige schuimkraag. Geur: iets bitter en wat moutzoetig. Smaak: licht bitter en iets moutzoetig. Medium koolzuurprikkel. Een doorsnee bier, maar dan iets bitterder.

Zilverenmaan (172) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - FEB 3, 2017
Clear amber brew. Aroma rather faint: wheat, sweetish, sticky ( I know: that’s a weird description of an aroma but my vocabularly fails me to put it better), alcoholic. Taste: wheat, a hint of spelt indeed, alcoholic fruityness, sweet with a faint bitter twist. Full bodied, well balanced but a bit boring.

33cl bottle. Hazy golden with a nice white head. Malts, floral, fruity and caramel in the aroma. Average carbonation and medium body. Taste is balanced with fruity and yeasty notes. Overall, a nice beer.

Quite good. Strong carbonation but head doesn’t stay for too long. Very bitter aftertaste but it complements well the fresh aroma of citrus.

VDuquerroux (1639) - Airvault, Haut-Poitou, FRANCE - AUG 28, 2016
Bottle, 33cL. Home. An orange opaque beer with a big white foamy head ; average retention ; ok lacing. Citrus, herb, light spice, light alcohol. Light sweet, medium dry fresh bitter, light acid, light warming atmosphere. Medium body, average texture and carbonation, short fruity bitter dry finish. Overall, enjoyable !
