Hazy golden with huge white head. Yeasty tropical fruit aroma. Dry bitter lemon aftertaste.

Hops are a little faded as it’s an old-ish bottle (gifted by a friend after they’d hung on to it for a while) but still quite nice.

Icedwarf (1804) - Etten-Leur, NETHERLANDS - AUG 17, 2014
Licht troebel geel bier met veel schuim. Smaak is hoppig bitter en lijkt erg op Duvel triple hop, alleen iets minder krachtig van smaak en blijft ook minder lang hangen. Etiket is inmiddels iets gewijzigd.

Belle robe jaune. Au nez on sent clairement les fleurs de houblons. En bouche c’est fin et amère. Bonne astringence.

Geen slecht bier, maar het was niet echt mijn ding. Dan zijn er betere bieren van Belgoo

750ml bottle. Hazy golden, low head. grassy, earthy dry orange peel. Sparkly orange peel start, grassy, herbal. Fresh, a bit fizzy and light. Fresh fruity finish.

Dry-hopped beer, Belgoobeer’s second if I remember well, with snow white, stable head and pale golden colour with greenish hue, misty. Aroma of apricot, pear, peach, bread, vanilla and lots of green and fresh, flowery hops. Taste sweet in onset, even a bit sugary for a moment, paired with lemony acidity, malty middle phase, elegant, peach-like fruitiness lingers on, ending in a refinedly flowery hoppiness reminiscent of freshly cut grass and chamomille, moderately long. Not my favorite style but interesting.

10oz pour in Toulouse comes out a hazy gold with some frothy white head. Nose has grass, citrus zest, some mild spice. Flavor has some mild malt and grain, followed by some citrus peel and a bit of soap. Bitter finish.

zinneke (242) - Brussels, BELGIUM - JUL 8, 2014
Pretty ok belgian pale ale. Aroma of citrus, grass, slightly tropical fruit, apricot and metalic smell (foam is suspiciously steady). A quite fizzy drink, bitter finish, but the citrussy aroma could be even more upfront. Quite ok, but not in my top 10
