Cask, Portree, Isle of Skye.
Bronze body, creamy dense Nitro-like head.
Muted aroma; subtle roastiness and caramel malt character.
Full body, low carbonation, smooth texture.
Rich malt flavour, touch of roastiness, bitter hop finish.
Quite a nice smooth malty ale. capoccetta (171) - roma, ITALY - JAN 22, 2010
Bottle at in-laws house. Amber to dark brown colour. Quite an okay 80/-, but not the best. A touch gassy. madmitch76 (24807) - , Essex, ENGLAND - NOV 15, 2009
14th July 2008. On tap in Edinburgh. Infinitely better than the Belhaven Best swill down’t road! Fruity and tangy. Red fruit. Some light toffee. Slipped down easlily. RuneStumo (2687) - Haugesund, NORWAY - OCT 11, 2009

Dark amber coloured, medium sized off-white head, light toffee nose. Sweet malty, toffee and caramel with nutty and cocoa notes. Not so watery as I’ve expectedbut still thin brew.
Cask at Old Bank, Turku. Hazy copper, pale foamy head. Mild old fruity aroma, sourish notes, some chocolatey nuttiness. Flavor has sourish ripe fruits, nuttiness, faint solvents, tangy hop bitterness in the bland finish. Light watery palate, almost flat. A weak, uninspired bitter. downender (8660) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JAN 26, 2009
Cask-conditioned at the Victoria, Clifton, Bristol 26/01/09. Dark amber with a slight, off-white head. Malty aroma of raisins and chocolate. Flavour was sweet, with plenty of chewy caramel and a short dry finish. Fine. Rune (12803) - Tromsø, NORWAY - DEC 9, 2008
Cask, half pint, hand pulled at Cumberland Bar in Edinburgh. Dark amber body, covered by a filmy, white head. Smell of dark chocolate malts. The taste has got more of caramel malts to it than the aroma. Foamy mouthfeel. Easy going session beer [24.10.2008].
