Bottle: pours dark brown, slightly clear, with foamy diminished light brown head. Aroma: gentle roasted grain, caramel, burnt sugar and dark&milk chocolate. Flavor follows aroma in all notes mentioned above, supported with gentle earthy, herbal hop notes. Finish is slightly dry, body is light to moderate, texture is soft, carbonation moderate medium.

Bottle at home. Black short lasting fizzy beige head. Sweet pils malts, light sugary, soft roast, some coffee bad dark chocolate, a bit herbal at the finish. It’s about medium sweet and light bitter. Light bodied with soft fizzy carbonation. I expected this to be more dry, but it’s more sweet and watery.

Volio bih probati imperijal i outmeal stout istog proizvođača.

Bierdimpfe (640) - Quebec, CANADA - FEB 26, 2017
Opaque black color with a faint copper hue. Magnificent slow construction, wave effect at the bottom, sexy degrading robe from black to white, with super fine head definition. Very thick and creamy beige 2 finger head, lasting around 20 minutes, with basic legs. Flavors of leather and smoked salmon, faint dark fruits and cherries, coffee, chocolate, molassy, with faint spices ans roasted malts. Good balance, but bland. Slick oily medium body with moderate carbonation. Light finish, lingers with sugary molasses, not very tasty. Feels more like a thin porter. The flavors are too faint, feels overly accessible, and lacks freshness. A Guinness beats the crap out of it. Overall below average stuff.

Old review before making ratebeer account. A run of the mill stout, it’s not bad.
