Can @ home. Black with a large beige head. Taste is of roasted malts, chocolate and a touch of fruits. Very smooth with a slightly dry aftertaste. The cask version is sightly better than it is on can, but despite its watery texture it is quite drinkable. This is IMHO as good as a Guinness.

Good look, black with a nice contrast with the white head. Creamy feel. Plain dark roast, lots of cardboard throughout. Meh.

Nikokaoja (296) - Ljubljana, SLOVENIA - AUG 2, 2017
2. 8. 2017, Ljubljana. Canned. Familiar roasted coffee aroma, pitch black with very creamy foam and body. Taste also resembles the most renown stout, coffee taste. Milky mouthful. Aftertaste is quickly gone though. Could last a bit longer to linger on the tounge. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Acaro (241) - Madrid, SPAIN - JUN 11, 2017
UPDATED: JUL 12, 2017 Aroma: Very subtle liquorize. Appearance: Black color with clear liquid and minimal white head (lightly tan). Taste: Medium bitter. Palate: Medium body with oily texture and flat carbonation. Bitter liquorize finish. Overall: Easy to drink. Head goes really fast. Not a long memory but probably its best feature.

3.7
Jabic (609) - Plainfield, Vermont, USA - JUN 9, 2017
Ar: Smooth roast; some firm bready malt; ashy, but in a refined way; a bit of pineapple. Ap: Commercial-perfect cascading nitro pour; when it settles, brown-black and opaque; medium light tan head with fine nitro consistency in a dense, creamy cap. T: Fruity peach, white grape, and pineapple esters mingle with a clean roast; light sweetness; a medium-high bitterness with a mossy and lightly dried-floral flavor; dry roast, with hints of coffee and ash, linger on the finish. P: Softy and creamy nitro palate, like silk in the mouth; finish is dry. O: A well-done dry Irish stout; it has the refined but pronounced roast character, a nice, high bitterness, and some fruity English esters; the appearance in the glass is perfection.
