Clear dark brown - orange amber colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, roasted, dark malt, vanilla notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, dark roasted, roasted, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Deep amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is nutty, some roasted malts, liquorice and mild fruityness. Flavour is fruity, liquorice like, mild floral and some earthyness. Also mild ashes in the finish.

Cask at The Magpie, Nicholson’s, London. Pours dark brown with a tight, creamy head. Ashy roast aroma. Light sweet flavor, some tobacco, lacto cocoa, mild earth. Light bodied with fine, creamy carbonation. Light sweet finish, some bittersweet cocoa, more tobacco, burnt sugar, faint leaves and dirt. Black color with creamy beige head. Nice aroma, some roasted malt, caramel, fudge. Low carbonation; Mild flavor of dark malts, not too dry, and moderate chocolate; ordinary bitterness. Light final, because of the nitro.
Can @ fonefan tasting. Hazy dark reddish brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee and dark fruit. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet finish. 160213
