Pours black, with a thin brownish head. Aroma of roasted malts. Taste: roasted malts, medium bitter, with a mild bitter finish

UPDATED: JUL 12, 2017 Aroma: Very subtle liquorize. Appearance: Black color with clear liquid and minimal white head (lightly tan). Taste: Medium bitter. Palate: Medium body with oily texture and flat carbonation. Bitter liquorize finish. Overall: Easy to drink. Head goes really fast. Not a long memory but probably its best feature.

Jabic (582) - Plainfield, Vermont, USA - JUN 9, 2017
Ar: Smooth roast; some firm bready malt; ashy, but in a refined way; a bit of pineapple. Ap: Commercial-perfect cascading nitro pour; when it settles, brown-black and opaque; medium light tan head with fine nitro consistency in a dense, creamy cap. T: Fruity peach, white grape, and pineapple esters mingle with a clean roast; light sweetness; a medium-high bitterness with a mossy and lightly dried-floral flavor; dry roast, with hints of coffee and ash, linger on the finish. P: Softy and creamy nitro palate, like silk in the mouth; finish is dry. O: A well-done dry Irish stout; it has the refined but pronounced roast character, a nice, high bitterness, and some fruity English esters; the appearance in the glass is perfection.
