Belhaven Black Scottish Stout really is something completely different. Bursting with roast coffee and chocolate flavours, this is a truly genuine and premium pint.

Tap @ uusi apteekki, Turku. Dark mahogany coloured with a mediumsized, thick& creamy head. Aroma has toasted malts, toffee, light caramel. Taste of roasted malts, caramel , chocolate, light metallic notes. Medium thick body, soft carbonation, smooth on the palate. Not bad at all.

0.5 l can @ Mijas. Pours pitch black with thin, permanent beige head. Nose is slight roasted/coffee notes, taste is quite the same with short, coffeeish finish. Extremely smooth, with almost non-existent carbonation, and light body. In fact, a bit too light for my liking.

From cask at the Forth Inn. Deep brown, almost black. Tiny beige head. Taste like coffee. A good beer.

Best stout Ove tried. Very dark and quite tastefull. Reminds me of a guinness but with a extra sense of tastyness.

Svart med ett beigt skum. Dofter och smaker av rostad malt, kaffe och choklad. En aning karamell tillkommer i det senare. Torr munkänsla-

Cask sample at Le Bon Bock Roma, Italy. Grazie Alberto. 16.12.2016. Pour it black color with small white head. Aroma roasted malt, toffee. Taste smooth but really easy drinkable, roasted feel, just a pinch of metallic feel, finish with light caramel note, medium body, creamy, average carbonation. OK

Nice stout, though it doesn’t outshine the belhavens’ oat stout. caramel, bread, coffee, toast, basement aromas black, clear, frothy, tan foam, medium sweetness, medium bitterness, medium sourness, full body, oily feel, abrupt finish, flat,

Kinda bitter. Deep chocolate, lots of tart coffee. Black dark mildly smoky flavor. Not bad.
