440 ml nitro can. Pours black with 2 fingers of creamy off white foam. The smell is big on the roasted malt with hints of chocolate, overall has a nice bitter aspect to it. Roasted malt and semi sweet chocolate taste. Also has a "milky" flavour. Smooth and pretty tasty.

Never poured this shiz into a glass, so no idea how it looks like. I love to chug these on depressed days when Im fing tired of too much CO2. Better than san miguel.

Pours black colour with small and short lasting, off-white head. Smell is a bit weak, malty and subtly smoked. Light body with watery texture. Pretty high carbonation for this style. Taste is mostly bitter with some off-placed sour notes. Aroma is very weak, yeast, roasted malts, smoke, traces of coffee. Very mediocre, and the choice to bottle this into transparent bottles is also quite questionable. Overall, as a stout, this one is a failure. Very weak, thin and watery. It would pass as an ok dark lager, tho. Barely.

W aromacie kawa, czekolada, delikatna paloność i niestety żelazo. Kolor ciemnobrunatny, rubinowe refleksy pod światło. Piana bardzo drobna, obfita, trwała, ładnie zdobi szkło. W smaku lekka słodycz, mało ciała, lekka kawa i czekolada. Niska goryczka, średnie wysycenie.

Bottled, 500 ml. Dark brown/ruby colour, medium sized creamy beige head, which leaves a thin film behind. Nose brings some coffee along... Mild roasty aroma escorted by caramel and some earth, mouthfeel is crisp and rather thin. Dry, mild roasty and earthy finish...

Pours black from the bottle with a creamy head. An aroma of smoke and roasted malts wafts from the glass. The strong smoke smell is literally like smelling your clothes after leaving a smokey bar. Very little evident carbonation. Taste is coffee, smoked malts, and a touch salty. Lightly bitter finish that is (what else?) smokey. The beer is just a hint warming despite the relatively low ABV, but the palate feels watery and thin and therein is the beers greatest weakness. Call it "stout lite".

500 ml clear bottle bought at YATA in MOKO, Mong Kok.

Clear, deep Cola blackish brown colour; One finger head and beige foam which last for 1 minute; Small sticky lacing and active carbonation; Sweet aroma of dark malt, with initial strong skunk (2 minutes), strong roasted coffee beans, double cream, caramel, light chocolate, sugar, earth and grass; Close to medium sweet taste of dark malt, with strong roastness, nuts, metallic, iced coffee, dark chocolate, milk, sugar, very light tartness, earth, yeast, fair lemon, light bitter hops and grass; Mid to light body. Quite slick palate; Mouth feel is good dark maltyness in a watery but smooth background. Very roasty with light peanuts. Good dose of iced coffee with flashes of dark chocolates. Moderate sweetness, light earth and fair lemon to round. Nice!... Hoppiness is initial skunk, earth, and grass in nose. Light lemon, light earth and grass in taste. Bitterness is light for an abrupt, low astringent coffee malty finish; Fairly dry after taste, Easy and light sweet to mouth.

Comments: How I hate clear bottle! Despite the inevitable light struck, this one is full of nutty, neat ice-coffee roastyness in aroma and taste, coupled with smooth body and fair creamy feel, this would be a nice choice for a relaxing evening. Better have it on tab than with a sorry clear bottle, though!

Very dark brown color, almost black, average sized tan head that instantly disappeared. Aroma of malt, caramel. Pretty empty and disappointing. Taste of milk chocolate, roasted malt, caramel, dark fruit. Light to medium body, average carbonation. Thin, watery and far from exciting.

W aromacie głwnie kawa zbożowa z lekkim karmelem, ponadto trochę palonych słodw. Piwo barwy czarnej z rachityczną, szybko opadającą pianą. W smaku w/w kawa zbożowa, trochę czekolady, lecz wszystko to dopiero jest zaznaczone w finiszu. Zbytnio wodniste, ale bez większych wad.
