COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This golden ale is reminiscent of the striking sunsets that can be seen from Belhaven Bay. With its refreshing citrus taste balanced against clean floral tones, this ale is certainly one to tempt the palate. .

imdownthepub (15325) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 14, 2017
Cask conditioned at The Oxford Bar, Edinburgh. Gold with white head. Light fruity beer with a slightly tartish note. Some orange hints, some citrus. A little underwhelming but okay.

berkshirejohn (6651) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - JUL 8, 2017
Cask at the Queen’s Head, Wokingham. A rather basic golden ale. A pale amber pour with a thin white head; malty aroma; malty taste; and a biscuity finish. I won’t be going back for another.

BeardedAvenger (1118) - Addlestone, Surrey, ENGLAND - JUL 2, 2017
Cask at Norton Dog, Norton, Suffolk. Malty citrus aroma. Dark gold or light amber, hmmm? Frothy blotchy white head. Initially the taste was too low to register. A light citrus bitterness develops into the finish. Malty base. Medium bodied. Slick. Flat. Lightly astringent finish. Bland.

Cask at the Bulls; clear golden yellow pour with a thin off white head, aroma has light citrus and straw, taste has citrus and sweet malts, biscuity malts.

Rune (13503) - Tromsø, NORWAY - APR 28, 2016
Cask, hal-pint at Ma Camerons in Aberdeen. Covering beige head to a bright gold-amber coloured body. Dotted spots on the glass. Modes mid-sweet smell of grain and floral hops. Flavoured with mild caramel malts added by citric hints. Bittersweet endnotes. A bit floury on the swallow. Accepted (19.04.2016).

AshtonMcCobb (6897) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 21, 2016
On cask at Carter’s Tap. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - light rotten egg note then it blows off a bit and there’s some lemon and pale malt. Taste - lemon and astringent malt. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a finish that could be fresher. Overall - wouldn’t order a second.

Cask @ Rockingham Arms amber with a thin head hoppy taste with hoppy aftertaste ok

Hippoman (646) - Durham, ENGLAND - APR 6, 2016
Cask at The Market Tavern, Durham. Slightly hazy golden amber - fresh barrel, I think it may have been put on too soon, with a small, thin, white head. The aroma is nothing special with corn, cereal, biscuit and damp leaf character and indeed the taste continues along the pathway to insipidness with bland, biscuity malts and grassy hop. Not a great deal going for this one.

Stuu666 (14806) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 16, 2015
Cask at SRAF 2011. Pours deep golden, nose is light floral fruit, toffee, taste is sweet, crisp.
