Fat, The White Heart Inn, Edinburgh. Ljus, klar färg. Doft av obduktion (!). Tunn smak som inte dröjer kvar, ingen större beska. Gör inte mycket väsen av sig.

Cask. Golden. Aroma is a bit fruity. Tastes like a regular IPA with a bit bitterness. Decent.

Came to the Glenfinnan Hotel table as a frothy welcoming pint. After a dissapointing sniff of the a sent aroma the first sip tasted of a beer that should have been sent back. Acidic sour taste with no malt or hop. I wonder about the state of the pipes that delivered it. So many reviewers have tasted the same that I am pursue died it must be the brewery. Worst pint for three years. What an accolade.

Pale amber in colour. Slight floral aroma. Rather dry with a kind of sour bitterness. Disappointing.

Hippoman (646) - Durham, ENGLAND - FEB 26, 2016
Cask at The White Hart, Edinburgh. Copper pour with a thin, off-white head. The aroma has woody, sawdust and perfumed sandalwood notes to it. The taste is largely dry with woody character and some sweeter, soapy, floral hop (no surprise from a GK beer). Pretty dull.

allmyvinyl (10618) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - FEB 3, 2016
Cask at Carters. Pours clear pale amber with a thin white head. Aromas of light sweet malt, light lemon. Taste is watery, faint lemony finish. Inoffensive

Toomio (590) - Joensuu, FINLAND - SEP 8, 2015
Ei kovin IPA. Aika helppo ja vähähumalainen. Eliittikokouksen jälkeinen rauhoittumiskalja.

Maker: Belhaven (Greene King), Dunbar, East Lothian, Scotland *** Beer: Belhaven IPA (cask, at The Advocate, Edinburgh) *** Style: Bitter *** ALC.VOL.: 4.0% *** Coulour: Clear yellow amber, medium, creamy off-white head. *** Nose: Very mild lemon and hop aroma. *** Texture: Medium body, creamy. Minimal carbonation. *** Taste: Sweetish toffee malt and lemon, light floral notes at first. Lemony note towards the middle, not bitter, with malty base. Floral finish, still lemony, with smooth malty aftertaste. *** Impressions: Unsubtle but super-smooth bitter with a pleasantly lemony note. Not really an IPA though. Easy, but good session ale. Kind of like Deuchards IPA, which, likewise, is actually a bitter.
