From tap in The White Hart Inn, Edinburgh as The White Hart Inn Best Bitter. Description is fitting plus pub sells Belhaven, so this is very likely the same thing under another name. Pours brown-amber / copper. I found it quite watery in taste, very distant malts and underlying bitterness. Easy to drink.
UPDATED: SEP 1, 2017 Cask, as Old Blackfriars Ale, in the Old Blackfriars pub (Belhaven) in Aberdeen. ABV is 3.9%. Copper colour, white (or slightly off-white) head. Nice malty aroma, notes of toffee. Malty flavour, toffee and nuts, some dark fruits in the background.
