Ins Glas ergießt sich ein bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, Karamell, fruchtig. Geschmack trocken fruchtig, malzig, Karamell.

UPDATED: FEB 18, 2016 Light hazel brown. bubbily caramel roasted malts flavor. A nice beer to watch lots of soccer with. Lightly sweet and really enjoyable. Good, but overall I preferred the 80 schilling instead.

BlackHaddock (7518) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - NOV 27, 2013
Clear 500ml bottle: poured into a UK pint sleeve on 27th Nov 13. Looked good: nice mahogany reddy brown body with a thin but full tanned covering. Clean and clear with carbonation bubbles rising throughout the tasting. Sweet malts ruled the nose and taste: treacle, toffee and caramel coming through in that order. The body isn’t thin, but it hasn’t got the depth to carry the sweetness very well, seems a little unbalanced and one dimensional because of that. OK, promises so much in looks and smell, but lacks a hop backbone and oomph.

SperkeleForce (791) - FINLAND - OCT 29, 2013
Bottle 50 cl. Pours amber with decent frothy head. Taste is caramel, hay, nuts, bread. Nice mix with bitter, dry and some sweet. Easy drink, specially now when pretty thirsty.

shoestring (419) - larkhall, SCOTLAND - SEP 11, 2013
lively looker in glass - fizzy looking. tan with a reddish hue. head look small and worried at first that it would disapper altogether - but it didn’t thankfully. smell toffe/caramel. (molasses?). Got better as heated up - may have overchilled. Eventually becamn lovely.nice pint indeed.

Bottle at brother-in-laws house. Deep brown colour. Not much head. A hint of sweetness.

Beerheart65 (1503) - Pori, FINLAND - JUN 20, 2013
Clear dark copper with short off-white head and lacing. Malty aroma has wood, nuts, bit caramel and hay. Hops under this. Light to medium body, semidry and slightly bitter, finish dries bit, low carbonation, soft and thin feel, more fruits than in aroma. Needs more body but flavors are ok.

Imaena (2328) - Maputo, MOZAMBIQUE - JUN 7, 2013
Bottle. This is a classic bitter with a good malty flavor and just enough hops to keep it interesting.

JK54B (1602) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAY 13, 2013
Mild malty nose. Pale fast disappearing head. Dark coppery color. Slightly sweet malty taste. Average hops. Some roastiness and caramel in the taste.

Clear amber with medium off white head. Lacing. Aroma.. quite caramel malty, hoppy, bit fruity Bittersweet. Decent beer. Nice price/perfomance. Really surprised.
