ClubGonzo (5685) - Bergen, NORWAY - JAN 6, 2012
Bottle. Deep coppery body, small off-white head. Nose is caramel, pale malts and hints of nuts. Taste is lightly roasty malts, grains and hints of caramel and astringent herbs. Watery palate. A bit of a letdown; the label spurred me to believe that this was a Scotch Ale. It clearly wasn’t.

Scopey (15704) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 21, 2011
Bottle from Asda Bridge of Don. It pours deep mahogany brown, with a thick white head. The nose is wood, leather, caramel, biscuit and toasted malt. The taste is wood, leather, toasted malt, cardboard, caramel, charcoal and digestive biscuit, with a dry finish Medium body, moderate carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Not bad.

ration (2263) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 31, 2011
Bottle 500ml. Pours - as visible from the clear bottle - dark copper with a nice meidum frothy head. Aroma bread, floral, grass. Slightly sweet british caramel bitter taste. Medium body. Not Bad

Kavu (5125) - Helsinki, FINLAND - SEP 30, 2011
Pours clear amber with a low head. Aroma and flavor are mostly malts. Quite basic ale.

BeerCast_Rich (1906) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 25, 2011
[500ml bottle] Pours a dark caramel colour with a very generous white head. Rich, toffee aroma – plenty of sweetness on the nose. May not exactly be ’poetry in a glass’ as claimed, but the malt balance is good enough, and although quite sweet, there’s no sickly molasses-heavy aftertaste that befuddle many of its contemporaries. Burns was fond of ’reaming swats’, and I think he would approve of this one [25012009]

Oakes (18828) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 5, 2011
Golden-brown colour with a thin head and a nice sparkle. Malt-accented and slightly fruity aroma. Caramelly and slightly earthy palate. Fairly tastey for a supermarket brew. I’d rather it live, but it was good enough pasteurized.

Toffee aroma and taste, slight malt, slightly sweet which is typically scottish, nice copper appearance

BenH (3434) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUL 4, 2011
Pours caramel brown. Strong caramel and vanilla notes. Fairly heavy malt flavor. It’s ok

3.5
Koelschtrinker (21489) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUN 21, 2011
Test vom 27.8.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,11,11,12,12,12 - 11,20

3.2
Kronebryg (1123) - Sorgenfri, DENMARK - JUN 15, 2011
Fine head, dark golden. light sweetnes in the nose, but not giving much. Some body and length. Sweet and a little lemony. Weelbalanced but a litle to sweet.
