On cask at the Watermans Arms, Brentford. Dry dusty nose with a hint of peach, fruity and dry-sweet body. Very nice.
The Felix. Or was it Lord Hop? Beige-collared dark copper. Soft oak-like aroma with mellow toasted nuts. Pleasant creamy oak and aniseed-sprinkled hazelnut thing. Dusting of chocolate and Allsorts.

Tasted this in the Salt Cot, Saltcoats (JDW) on the 24th January 2016. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear pale mahogany in colour with a thin white head. Clear malty aroma with a sweet note of moist raisins present. Thin mouthfeel and poor lacing. Mixed malts gives a maltloaf base with sweet fruit notes of raisins and sultanas. There is a strong flavour of sour dough evident in the earthy hoppy aftertaste. Finish is malty with raisins and the sourness still present on the palate. An ok session Scottish 80/ kapusil (1505) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JAN 29, 2016
On cask. Deep orange/amber body, off-white head. Aroma of grains, caramel and floral hops. Taste of grains, caramel, toast and some berries. OK beer. niquillis (2752) - Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 27, 2016
Cask at Wheatsheaf (JDW), Stoke. Pours mud brown. Very malty, bitter, some plum. Below average. minutemat (6062) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - JAN 24, 2016
Cask @ Montgomery’s Tower, Shrewsbury. Pours dark brown, no head, no discernible aroma. Taste is watery boring brown bitter. A waste of time.

Mahogany brown and clear. Lots of dark malts. Moderate sweetness. Well balanced. Good but lacks a bit of oomph! Tranquillity (2508) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 21, 2016
Cask. Medium brown. Medium light brown head. The aroma is mellow, fruity. The taste is weak, but extremely ill with tartness and plum/peach/citrus. Pretty perfect. berkshirejohn (6655) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - JAN 21, 2016
Cask at the Prince Arthur (JDW), Fleet. Chestnut in colour with a loose cream head; sweet caramel aroma; sweet nutty malt taste; with some dry caramel and mollasses to finish. Not at all bad. Don2711 (494) - - JAN 21, 2016
Like this. Mahogany appearance. Nutty with molasses and toffee tastes. Good creamy head. Only complaint is could be stronger. Fair on palate. BlackHaddock (7690) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - JAN 21, 2016
I do not normally drink beer before nine in the morning, but. Pint of this at Stanstead Airport with a Bacon Butty in the Wetherspoons before our flight woke me up nicely. Hand-pulled into a UK sleeve it has a pleasant looking mahogany body with a cream coloured topping. Malts all the way here, nutty notes along with semi-sweet molasses in both the nose and taste. Very similar to the bottle variety, but better in cask form.
