SJP (483) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 31, 2002
Not too bad, a little mild in flavor, with just a bit of roasted grain malt and a mild hops presence. A very drinkable beer.

Much better than expected. Hints of roasted flavor with lasting lacy head. A little bit of hops and a little bit of malt in the aroma. Scored a free pint glass to boot.

Decent beer. Not that wonderful. Average amount of hops and malt. Good amount of zing in flavor. Flatter aroma. Good appearance good texture.

Ringo (963) - Loveland, Colorado, USA - AUG 26, 2002
What happened to this beer? It used to be great in the 80's (painted label days), now it is relatively inexpensive and just slightly better than average.

Brew4Dug (139) - Houston, Texas, USA - AUG 22, 2002
Very palate pleasing and had one hell of a stable head on it after poured into the glass.

Hopistotle420 (1177) - Amherst, Massachusetts, USA - AUG 8, 2002
Flowery, almost wine like fruity nose. Nice thick cream colored head. Nice dark-reddish amber hue. Barely any carbonation in mouth, and bland flavor. Nice light, sweet malt finish thogh. On draught this beer is excellant...i feel the can doesnt do justice to this wonderful mild scottish ale.

3.7
Nate (4296) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 4, 2002
Flowery sweet aroma, tea, and astringent mild hops. Big creamy off-white head on what looks like dark-brewed iced tea. Smooth palate, with almost no carb - silky, medium watery body. Light bitter hops and light sweet malt. Slight metallic of can and sour tang. Not a bad ale - very light with smooth sweetish after.

Zach Diesel (905) - Sisters, Oregon, USA - JUL 29, 2002
yeasty aroma but as was the theme of the night's sampling way too light in body

Beautiful smell, nice head, hoppy. Earthy taste. I didn't like it much at first, but it gets better as you get used to the taste. Nice to have occasionally.
