Malty and hoppy, we at Belhaven love the classic Scottish Ale and weve been brewing it longer than any of the other beers we produce. Delivering a sweet, smooth and creamy finish, Scottish Ale has a stunning ruby colour in the glass. Magic.

330ml bottle bought in UK, pours almost flat, aroma of cashew nuts, mahogany colour, tastes sweetish, full bodied for its strength with a surprising hop back-taste. Best from my beer advent box so far.

Though the aroma is a bit weak, the taste is superior. caramel, floral, herbs, raisin, peach red, clear, minimal head, tan foam, heavy cloying sweetness, very bitter, lightly sour, light body, thin feel, lively, abrupt finish

Pours copper colour with big white head. Has somewhat creamy texture, bit light for ale. Also very lively carbonation considering its an ale. Bit of a sweet start, but well balanced. Leaves tingling feeling on your tongue, and almost on spice side.

sudomorph (1106) - Barrie, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 2, 2016
330ml bottle from lcbo 6 pack. Pours a clear caramel with a half finger of off white head. Aroma has notes of caramel, woody heather spice, creamy malts, and a bit of nuttiness. Taste is balanced well but on the malty side. Biscuit, creamy caramel, hints of earthy spice, and a short ending. Medium body and carbonation. A touch watery in the mouth with a dry finish. Overall a very easy drinking beer.
