3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a light brown/golden color with a light head. Aromas include a touch of caramel and grains. Finish is malty and toasty. Overall, an easy drinking beer that is different from the hop heavy American beers.
Mild malt aroma with some light spice, clear amber colour with a thick fluffy white head, flavor was sweet malts leaving a mild bitter aftertaste, medium body, quite enjoyable. The_Osprey (8211) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 17, 2017
July 2017 - Bottle shared at Leighton’s. As ’Belhaven Scottish Ale’, 5.2%. Reddy amber pour, translucent and still with a foamy off-white head. Aroma is resin, bready malt, sugary. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is sweet and sugary, lots of toffee and boiled sweets, no bitterness and no complexity with more sugar. A bit wishy washy due to not having enough bitterness for me. (4-4-5-3-12=2.8) patxa (210) - MEXICO - AUG 15, 2017
Malty, creamy, a bit sweet in the end, rather bitter in the beginning. Pretty flat body but that's ok.

Bottle. Dark reddish amber (bad lightning though) small white head, fastly diminishing. Aroma: eggs, sweet bread, sirup. Taste alot better than the aroma. Some caramel and some spices. 60minuteman (1746) - West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 9, 2017
Bottle. Not much smell. A pretty ruby pour with bits of white head. Smoky malts, spice, walnut, bread and molasses notes. Smooth, sweet, subtle and smoky. Good drink.

7/21/17. On tap at Molly MacPherson’s, Savannah, on nitro! It’s a Scottish restaurant, so I figured what the hell - didn’t know it was going to show up on nitro. Tasty stuff, though perhaps partially because of the time and place and my delicious plate of Scottish food. Amber pour with a wonderful cascading nitro head. Malty aroma, mild sweetness, caramel, bread, a hint of nuttiness. Good flavor, malty, caramel, bread, crackers, a hint of fruitiness. Tasty. jamaty (2183) - Madrid, SPAIN - JUL 18, 2017
Escasa espuma blanca que desaparece rápida. Ambar oscura, limpia. Malteada en el aroma. Acaramelada y especiada en boca. Bien de gas. Decente. MrTipple (5342) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 16, 2017
Sweet grain malts, caramel, toffee, dark malts. Clear, dark, gold, small, creamy, white head. Medium sweet. More molasses, caramel, sweet, dark berries, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Nice Scottish Ale, sweet and rich. Bottle shared at Leighton’s - thanks to The_Osprey!

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Daniel. Pours clear ruby-gold with a creamy, white head. Big malty aroma, brown sugar, graham crackers. Medium to heavy sweet flavour, lots of caramel, minimal bitterness. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish, a little gooey and sticky, marmalade, toasted caramel. Good malty beverage. gorthaurz (59) - CROATIA - JUL 9, 2017
Pours a dark amber with a thin head. Aroma is sweet, caramel, spices, pleasant but not too strong. Taste is malts, caramel, sour, a bit empty mouthfeel. Medium carbonization. Aftertaste is sour.
