Smells malty with a little skunk underneith. Taste is malty, mildly nutty, smooth. OK beer.

Belhaven is definitely doing something in sync with my taste, this is again another straight good beer. Crisp, sharp, very easy to drink. Pdubyah (836) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - JAN 11, 2018
Get in ya! This is beautifully aromatic, looks great, and drinks properly nice. Malty as all heck all over. sawyerpc15 (195) - Bowser, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 10, 2018
I was a little disappointed in this beer as I expected it to be more hoppy but it did have a tinge of the wee heavy taste which I enjoy. Overall an OK craft. caketm (421) - Czestochowa, POLAND - JAN 3, 2018
Butelka 0,33 l. Piwo jest klarowne, ma ładny słodki aromat. W smaku jest pełne. Nawet smaczne.

(Bottle) Nice looking beer - clear ruddy brown with big dense white head. Nice aroma - toasty malt, nutty, caramel. Medium bodied, well carbonated, even frothy. Taste is fine, but rather unexciting - some nice malt, toasty and nutty with some gentle sweetness. Pleasant but not special. JoeMcPhee (10131) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 30, 2017
Amber pour. Aroma is quite sweet and malty. Has a pronounced nuttiness and a clean malt driven profile. Some subtle esters but it's really the malt driving the bus here. Nice. Nekronos (4213) - Xalapa, MEXICO - DEC 30, 2017
Very nice and enjoyable. Quite creamy and with the touch of the Belhaven's ales. Good in features and aroma. nenad.deusic (1) - - DEC 28, 2017 does not count

While the version of Belhaven available to us in the states is probably not nearly as good as the traditional beers that can be enjoyed in the brewery's homeland, this brew is still pretty tasty. It pours dark amber with a light tan head. The nose and palate are non-complicated but pleasing. Fat malt character. Toasty, nutty, and mildly creamy. It's a straight-forward and non-fussy beer, though it does tend to be shamefully overpriced here in the U.S.
