COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Belhaven Scottish Oat Stout is dark, rich and layered, with a wonderful silky texture and a lingering finish. We uses a complex mash including roasted barley and oats along with 3 types of malt to give the beer its trademark depth and complexity: Creating black coffee and dark chocolate notes that make this stout intense yet approachable.

Nice dark aspect, with tan, dense, head. Smoked taste with hints of chocolate and coffee beans. Very consistent aroma and taste though the end. A surprise at this price range/location (Mexico) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

PowY (797) - AUSTRIA - AUG 10, 2017
330 ml bottle. Pours a dark red-brown with a tn colored head. Aroma of roasted malt with lots of dark fruits, milk chocolate, some woody notes. Medium to full creamy body with a very low carbonation and a medium to medium heavy sweetness. The flavor is again full of sweetish roasted malt - chocolate, raisins, brown sugar. Lightly sweet and lightly bitter roasty finish.

Black with minimal tan head. Sweet lactose aroma. Sweet with some bitter roasted character balancing. Some nuttiness and coffee. Nice and complex for a sweet stout. Low carbonation.

Bottle, 33cl. Opaque dark reddish, minimal brown head. Aromas of roasted malts, dried fruits. Full bodied, moderate carbonation. Thick and creamy. Medium sweet, medium bitter, lightly acidic. Rich malty flavors into a harsh acidic and bitter finish. Quite pleasant.

Bottle, 330ml. A dark beer with minimal brown head. Aroma is of roasted coffee, sour milk and hint of mint. Taste is moderately bitter, with some carbonation and astringency. Sour milk aftertaste; finish feels slightly watery. Some roasted character, with a hint of oats.
