Good appearance with smooth head. Caramel aroma and caramel and toasty taste. Highly drinkable.

500ml new entry sampled at BierHandlung. Smooth hazelnut cream pour, beige cap. Aroma of inviting malt caramel spread, some coffee. Smooth thinner yet still textured mouthfeel for the abv, helping alll sweet caramels and roast (coffee, milk chocolate) into pleasant some power. Hints of lactose and hazelnut.

Black body, small, bubbly tan head. Very mild aroma, I only get a bit of malts and a faint coffee aroma in the background. Pretty good flavour, roasty malts, dark chocolate, with slightly bitter hoppiness. Silky smooth moutfeel, low but tingly carbonation but not very rich bodied. Decent stout with lots of roasted flavours which I like.

Pours black from the bottle with a thin creamy head. Aroma is lots of roasted malts and coffee. Taste is bitter coffee, chocolate and, more faintly, amaretto. The hops make themselves felt in the long bitter finish. Palate is creamy, the body is lighter than usual for the style. Pleasant.

Black, creamy brown lace. Licorice roast notes, bitter chocolate . Dry medium body. Herbal notes, dry roast chocoate, spice and licorice. Needs some chewiness and somethiing to cut through the dry notes to be moreish.

Too sweet for me for a stout. Put me off immediately with the sickly sugary after taste. Has a pleasant smokey, caramel toffee, chocolate/coffee aroma, however. No head to report in my glass anyway, with very little, and a quickly disappearing lacing. (had an APA in glass before pouring however). Again, too sweet. Shame.
