Sweet. Creamy. Great head. Notes of chocolate. Had at Brewski's in Fayetteville. Fritz123 (1597) - Boca Raton, Florida, USA - JUL 10, 2013
Draft at Jimmy’s No. 43 in NYC. Pint glass. pours a black opaque with thick white head on nitro. Aroma of coffee and roasted malts. The taste was a wonderful UK style stout with heavy roasted malts, coffee and slight bitter hops. The finish is dry and brisk. Mouth is smooth and slightly creamy. Draft at the Pub Naples. Pours black with a thin, luscious khaki head. Leaves a ton of lacing in the glass. Solid roasted malt on the tongue. Finish lingers a bit. Solid! Seffle (465) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - JUN 28, 2013
From tap at B hotel, Moffat.
Light brown firm head and almost black body. Quite a lot of deeply caramellmalt, almost like a smoke beer. Like!

Black tea aroma, quite nice. Smooth palate. Keggy carbonation. Very dark, tight beige keggy head. Super bland in the mouth, noitt even sure this is worth 5. Just a dull earthy maltiness. Deeply unsatisfying. So fucking keggy and watery, and the full palate is suffocating in its dullness. The blancmange of beer. How dare a dark beer be so tasteless?
Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours black with orange glints and a creamy light tan head. Aroma of treacle and arguably chocolate. Med body, nearly. Flavor is like aroma, except the malt seems slightly smoky. Finishes lightly, treacly sweet. peral2 (578) - SWEDEN - APR 26, 2013
Den här gillar jag. Fat på the Terminus folk pub i DenHaag. Riktigt brutal stout men ändå väl balanserad.

Dark in colour, sweeter and creamier than a Guinness. Kind of milky texture. Not bad. Cybercat (6121) - Georgia, USA - MAR 3, 2013
Comes out of the tap almost Guinness-like: opaque coffee brown with a thick, persistent, fine-bubbled light tan head. Aroma is not strong, but has a good roast malty component and a hint of licorice. Flavor has a robust smoky malt component plus notes of licorice, molasses and subtle caramel. Exceptionally smooth texture has average texture, not a lot of fizz. Still, a decent little Scottish stout. Slubgob (341) - West Hartford, USA - FEB 24, 2013
Draft into mug. Opaque black, fine cream head. Dull in the mouth, almost bland. Hint of milk and chocolate, but I have to concentrate to get even that. Nice soft mouth feel though. Curious early finishing note of black licorice, otherwise dull finish. Disappointing and boring.
