Honey notes in the aroma. Clear amber, medium white head. Nice malt sweetness, very light bitterness. Short finish, medium body. Quite refreshing in a hot summer.

23. 7. 2017, Klimno w/ mom. Bottled. Some whiskey notes are present in the flavour, but not to my taste. It feels ro much artificial to me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I bought this bottle from Boissons Service at Malley. I drank it on Saturday with my wife. In my opinion, it is not a bad ale, but there is a lack of something to be better. You have different aromas: oak, vanilla, malt, few hop, on the sweet way, but the taste is not well balanced, I could say a lack in the finishing with the differents feedstuffs. Of course, it is not bad, I personnaly prefer their own IPA.

Appearance: clear deep gold with a short, short-lived fizzy head, no lacing. (2/5) Aroma: caramel and toffee, vanilla, wood, whiskey, metallic. (6/10) Taste: moderate-high sweet, mild bitter. (5/10) Palate: medium body, lively carbonation, sweet mildly warming slightly metallic finish. (3/5) Malt dominated and really far too sweet for my preference. I had a sneaking suspicion “Belhaven” wasn’t a real brewery when I bought this, and sure enough, turns out it’s Greene King. ‘Nuff said. (11/20) 6/10 #ryansbooze ryansbooze.com
