Pour amber very clear with whitish head. Aroma of malt, caramel, toffee, some wood. The flavour quite the same with a malt backbone, caramel for days, oaky, some whiskey reminiscence. A dry finish to balance. Pretty nice.

[Bottle (330ml)] Pours a clear deep golden-orange with an average size semi-lasting frothy white head. Aroma of wood, sugar, caramel malt and honey. Flavour of caramel malt, honey, sugar, wood and fruit. Average bodied. Just O.K., a bit too sweet for me.

330ml bottle. Pours a clear amber with a thin off-white head. On the nose, light caramel, with lots of oak notes. Fuller bodied than expected, and SWEET, caramel malt notes, very light oak, Lyles Golden Syrup, and faint resinous notes that head into lots of sweet caramel, a stronger note of the oak (but still pretty subtle), very faint metallic hop notes, and woody/caramel in the finish. I dont mind the taste profile, its good, but the sweetness is borderline cloying.

Bottle @Le Bon Bock (Rome). Dorata carica, limpidissima, schiuma bianca media. Molto interessante!

Bottle, medium sized creamy head with a clear reddish brown color. sweet creamy malt aroma . Flavor is oaky sweet with a malty sweet background . light tingle of carbonation doesnt mask the smooth creamy palate of this one. No hops bite at all and a bit sweet but its a good beer.
