0.5 l bottle from local supermarket. Amber colour with OK head. Smooth taste of ale combined with some hops and strong flavoured malts.

I remember this being really tasty 20 years ago, tasting it a few days ago, I was very disappointed, bland, tasteless beer.

sinte (596) - Udine, ITALY - AUG 27, 2014
Old rating. Bottle 0.33L. Clear, amber body with average, frothy, off-white head, mostly lasting with some lacing. Moderate malty (grains, some caramel) and hoppy (herbal) aroma. Light-to-moderate bitter and sweet flavour, nicely balanced. Light-to-medium body with oily texture; soft carbonation.

Psytron (2500) - Turku, FINLAND - AUG 22, 2014
4.6 % (Finland) version. Mild smell of malt. Copper colour, white head. Aroma of sugar, malt. Very mild flavour. Medium sweet. Flat carbon, slightly oily texture.

Alengrin (5718) - BELGIUM - JUL 30, 2014
Scottish ale apparently brewed in honour of St. Andrews, home of golf. Regularly shaped, mousse-like, yellowish white, nicely sticky and perfectly stable head, colour a deep reddish amber, cristal clear. Nutty and caramelly malts in the nose, bit smoky accent, fruit (peach, mango, grapefruit), grassy hops, nutmeg, peat, bitter honey, wheaty accent. Crispy fruitiness with lively carbonation, smooth and thinnish, bit oily mouthfeel, caramel malt base evolving in a strong nuttiness and ending in a peppery hoppy and lightly smoky, long and interesting finish. Very well-balanced, tasty ale.

Nie urzeklo mnie to piwo. Ale troche wodnisty, rozczarowujacy w porownaniu do innych szkockich piw.

rauchbier (3933) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - MAY 25, 2014
Bottle, from Sainsburys, Grimsby. Golden brown, thin but lasting white head and moderate condition. Slight fruitiness in the nose with a background of sweet caramel, hints of chocolate and coffee initially in the mouth quickly gaining a fruity edge and a little grainy sweetness, gentle hop bitterness and some sweet burnt toffee notes linger in the finish.

mkam (409) - POLAND - MAY 18, 2014
Bottle. Pours clear amber with a white, medium head. Aroma is sweet, malty and fruity with a hints of hops. Taste is similar: malt, caramel. Medium body and carbonation. Decent beer.

delorian (85) - budapest, HUNGARY - APR 14, 2014

Tayeth (680) - North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - APR 8, 2014
Geruch ist angenehm süßlich nach Sirup, Karamell und ganz leicht nach Zimt. Geschmack dann zart nach Kaffee mit Toffee und Sahnebonbon. Für meinen Geschmack etwas zu stark karbonisiert.
