Belhaven Brewery’s flagship American-style IPA. A bold but refreshing ale using pale malt to provide sweetness and a little Crystal malt for extra toffee and a touch of astringency. Challenger provides clean bitterness and an underlying herbal hoppyness. Hersbrucker adds a little fruit, spiciness and floral character and Cascade as the late hop adds masses of grapefruit citrus aroma and taste and floral fragrance. All three hops contribute to the bold bitterness and satisfying finish as well as the huge “hop store” aroma.
Ingredients: Pale malt, Cascade, Hersbrucker and Challenger hops.

Golden pour. Aroma bit that great. Can't place it, but of cheap beer. Hops are subtle, definitely a British IPA. Slight citrus flavor. Goes down smooth. A session able brew ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

0.33l bottle. Golden color with white head. Aroma is floral, fruity, malty, spicy and citrusy. Taste is medium bitter with some citrusy, spicy, earthy notes along with some maltiness. Dry finish. Overall it’s very good beer, very drinkable.

I bought this bottle, small size, at the drink of the world in Geneva, I drank this Scottish one, on the train, from Geneva to Sion. In my opinion, I fairly appreciate this beer, classical IPA. The body is copper, classical color, thin brown and white head, the carbonation is classical for the style. The taste is bitter, fruity, hop giving these aromas, malt hidden by the hop, well balanced during all the phases, good job.

1 an avant DLC. Blonde/ambrée petit col de mousse tenue faible. Carbo moyenne.

pours in a golden amber colour, with a small fast dissolved head. medium carbonated. very sweet taste, not very bitter. not what you’d would expect from an IPA. not bad!

330ml can. Pours golden amber, small off white head. Nose is sweet caramel, floral and mandarin lemon citrus. Smooth, soft carbonation. Taste is really sweet, too sweet tbh. Caramel, sugared fruits and floral honey notes. Bit of bitterness in the finish and really juicy. Doesn’t taste like an IPA for me. Still not bad won’t buy again though.

33cl bottle from Bier & Getranke, Vienna on 12-May- 2017. Golden amber with a large off-white head. Aroma of sweet fruit, rich malt and pine. Medium body and carbonation. Taste is heavy caramel malt, a light squeeze of citrus and overly sweet. Lightly hopped and subtle bitterness. Too sweet for me.
