It pours hazy ruby with violet tinges; the head is cream and mousse like. The aroma of notes of: raisins, toffee, oak, and charcoal. The taste is medium sweet that finishes medium bitter and astringent. The palate is medium bodied with medium carbonation, and has a long finish. Overall, it seems like it would be more potent - a little bit of a let down.

Eff yes, Indians up 2-0 in the ALCS. Had lots of beer over the last two days... heres another. $2.99 Bottle from Market Street Wine Shop, Downtown. Pours reddish brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel and seltzer water, hints of brown sugar or something similar in the end. Oh flavor is nice: fruitcake: dark fruits, spices, caramel, brown sugar... quite tasty, if you like this sort of thing.

Bottle - Pours deep amber/brown, thick white fluffy head, good lacing. Aroma of sweet malts and licorice. Caramel, rich dark roasted grains, brown sugar. Malty, but a good hops presence that completes this ale.
