Pours a clear reddish dark amber with a one inch creamy off-white head and nice lacing. Aroma is rich, fruity, and nutty. Taste is sweet and fruity with caramel and brown sugar. Very nice.

UPDATED: NOV 12, 2016 Bottle. Brown color with tan head. Aroma is raisins, figs, caramel. Taste is more raisins, figs, chocolate, slightly oxidized. Nicely balanced. Very good scotch ale, albeit rather sweet.

Bottle. Dark red, cherry like color with small-medium head. Aroma of cherries, hay with aldo some chocolate notes notes. In flavor chocolate is even more pronounced again in mix with cherries and raisins and caramel. Sweet. Overall: ok, but not my style of beer. Too sweet for me.

Dark amber colour with no head left. Spicy nose with oak and caramel malt notes. Sweet and malty taste with dark berries flavour. Very well balanced.
