Bottle shared by bhensonb. Pours ruby with a decent tan head and a treacle aroma. There is a hearty sweet smoked malt flavor with a dry finish. Lots of treacle. SanfordBrewer (1575) - Sanford, Florida, USA - OCT 24, 2010
Black with mahogany highlights, thin tan head, full body, medium carbonation.wchesser (2076) - Denver, Colorado, USA - SEP 13, 2010
Aroma: sweet malt, note of licorice. (reminds of certain german doppelbocks).
Taste: roasted malt, hints of coffee and licorice.
Surprisingly better than expected. Could use more hops and complexity, but it’s clean and pleasant, with no off-flavors.
Toasted malts, coffee notes. Sweet, almost cloying. Solid pick for spicy food, especially if served ice cold. Wouldn’t seek it out, but when in Rome...Watery for the style, dark chocolate finish. kseecs16 (1216) - Naperville, Illinois, USA - MAR 2, 2010
Bottle, poured a very dark brown with a thin filmy light brwon head. Sweet grainy malt aroma with a touch of staleness. Flavor was dry, grainy with a mildly sweeet finish. You could do worse. drseusszb200 (687) - Florida, USA - NOV 9, 2009
poured very aggressively but poured dark brown with a slight off white head that lasted not very long. smelled of honey and sweet malts. taste is different from a stout but not bad. it taste like a light stout

Sampled on a recent trip to Belize. Pours a clear brown color with thin head. Aroma is faint with notes of light chocolate, hay, honey, some faint spice. Flavor is about the same. Generally light to medium body with a light malt finish. WesKBob (563) - Bethany, Oklahoma, USA - MAR 27, 2009
Pours a very dark brown with a thin tan head. Aroma is faint, but some sweet malts are noticeable. Flavor is sweeter than anticipated--lots of sweet malts and some molasses. A little thin for a stout, but given Belize’s climate, you probably don’t want a thick, heavy beer weighing you down.
I have to admit I was impressed by this brew. It’s not a great stout by any means, but coming from a part of the world that makes very, very few darker beers, it was a very solid entry. bradlyc77 (226) - Sebastopol, California, USA - JAN 13, 2009
An interesting alternative to regular Belikin. Pours dark brown-black. Malty backbone, with nutty and light roasted flavors. Seemed a little watery for a stout, and you may be let down, but I wish every country that idolizes pale lagers had an alternative like this. phishpond417 (2088) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 21, 2008
Still in Belize, and not a whole lot of variety- that’s ok this beer i can have many of. Pours a dark brownish black colour with a small tan head. Slightly nutty but for the most part just a little darker then the regular PL. Satisfying, rich and does the trick. rcasta (864) - EL SALVADOR - MAY 15, 2008
