Pours a slightly hazy reddish-gold, with a big, creamy head. Aroma is yeast, cereal, and a hint of tropical fruit. No real hop aroma to speak of. Taste is big and solid with a serious malt backbone underpinning flavors of raisins, caramel, and fruitcake along with a sizable hop profile to give it a nice mouth feel and good, long, bitter finish. Not just a big hop bomb and very drinkable. Silphium (3302) - Traverse City, Michigan, USA - FEB 28, 2018
Bottle. Murky orange-brown body (blood orange), medium off-white head. Nose of citrus peel (grapefruit, especially), tropical fruit, berries, and alcohol. Sticky body with intense sugary papaya, bitter rind, and, to a lesser degree, pine and even red licorice. Prickly and oily with a sharply bitter finish. jinroh (2723) - ESTONIA - DEC 16, 2017
Bottle. Pours orange, relatively hazy. Nose is hoppy and sweet, a bit syrupy. Sticky mandarins and cantaloupe. Tastes sweet, mandarin jam with grassy bitterness. Dense body, grassy hops with good lupulin dust sensation. Warming double IPA. TimE (6489) - Tokyo, JAPAN - DEC 15, 2017
Nice vivid friery red color. Big dank stone fruit and over ripe mango nose with a touch of honey. Full body, big malt backbone with pine, stonefruit and cherries. Big bitter finish. Nice big malty iipa zoucrew102 (2421) - - NOV 25, 2017
Bottle. Tropical fruit hop aroma with notes of grapefruit, pine resin and caramel malt. Pours opaque caramel colored with a large tan head that has excellent retention and some lacing. Starts with caramel malt and tropical fruit hop flavors. Finishes dry with grapefruit and pine resiny hop bitterness that lingers on the palate after each sip. Good, but would like to try a fresher one.

a true double IPA at 10.1% abv; deep amber color; lots of citrusy hops in the aroma with some herbal notes; strong, dank, citrusy, fruity hop flavor with herbal note; slightly sweet, bready malt with some light caramel notes; a bit of warm alcohol jsquire (4782) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - SEP 25, 2017
Amber color with a short lived off white head. Huge tropical fruit and sweet citrus hop nose. This is a big, chewy, alcoholic hop bomb. Great pineapple, tropical fruit and citrus hop flavors with caramel and a warming alcohol finish. Nice IIPA scotchzombie (633) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - AUG 23, 2017
Pours hazy reddish gold with a leggy off white head that foams nicely. Aroma is steeped in roasted caramel malt and a dip in the dank tank. Taste has depth but balance seems a bit off. Very focused on sweet caramel and German malts and dank pine hops with boozy finish. Citrus is subsumed a bit until the aftertaste. An inventive effort, but a bit muddied - though this beer opens up with warming.
