A copper robe with a hint of gold. Mellow, with a refreshing bitterness, Belle Gueule Originale is bottom fermented and cold filtered… a lager of the highest distinction, brewed in the heart of Plateau Mont Royal.

Can from local iga grocery A: corn, light caramel, light cereal App: brilliantly clear copper lasting smallish white head. T/p: thin to med body with sweet finish of short duration. Med carbonation. O: Macro like. a little too sweet perhaps, still easy to drink. Won’t probably buy it again.

Bierdimpfe (640) - Quebec, CANADA - APR 24, 2016
Bright straw color with weak activity. White 1 finger head, lasts 5 minutes, with poor legs. Aromas and flavors of corn, sweet roasted malts, a little herbal spices. High on the sugar with a syrupy feel, and bit bready. Slick light body with moderate carbonation. Faint finish ending with a roasted malt feel, slightly bitter dry. Overall a dull craft having faint watery adjunct flavors. Too sugary and thin, but still fresh. Even from tap it doesn’t help.

341ml bottle. Clear amber with a foamy white head. Flavors are toasted cereals, crackers, and honey with spicy and mineral notes. Light body, good carbonation, slick texture.

Sample from a bottle. Clear gold pour with foamy white head. Aroma is honeyed, honey malt, light floral notes, dim. Taste is grainy, sweet, light honey. Palate is light bodied, watery. Meh.

Can. Pours amber with a thick head, Corn aroma. Bright flavor up front with a slight hop bite at the end. The flavor is not that good though. Some booziness mixed with some vegetable. I’ll get through it but won’t have another.

Just so slightly above what a "good" amber lager tastes like. -this comprises all that need to be said about the beer;sometimes 75 characters is way too much!

mathieuc (4000) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 18, 2015
Pours a clear golden (almost copper) with a medium white head that gives out good lacing. Nose is of caramel, herbs and cereals. Taste is a little sweet, offers some malty flavors of cereals and a really light bitterness. Body is light to medium, carbonation high and prickly and mouthfeel oily. Overall an OK vienna, nothing to write home about though.

Tessic (1194) - Brantford, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 28, 2014
This one poured a light amber colour with a white, frothy head. Scents include corn and light malt. First swig was watery with flavours of corn and malt. Slightly sweet with a finish of meh?
