Aroma of sweet cherry juice. In taste at first appears that sweet cherry, then turns into a dry sour taste. simply and well.

A can somewhere in Brussels.... Not a big fan of Krieks, but had to drink it at least ones for the record. The ruby color knocks me out every time.

From old tasting notes. Deep burgundy red color topped by a light pink head. Sweet tart cherry nose, characteristically lambic. Flavor of tart cherries.mbubbly and effervescent. Light fruity malt flavor is cherry strong.lingering finish is tart and lightly hopped.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours cherry red with a frothy pink head. Aroma of cherry, cherry bomb sweets, with a sour edge. Moderate sweetness, medium sour. Light to medium body, oily texture, average carbonation.

Zlotta (3273) - Hagen / Düsseldorf, GERMANY - MAR 27, 2017
0.25 l bottle from ’Brunne vun Kölle’ as ’Belle-Vue Kriek Classique’ at 5.1% abv, best before November 2017. Clear, deep red with a medium large, foamy, stable, pinkish white head. Sweetish, a little sourish, sugary and fruity aroma of lots of cherry juice, sorbet powder and raspberry. Rather sweet, just a little sourish, very fruity (a bit artificial) aroma of cherry juice, sorbet powder, raspberry and a touch of almond, followed by a short, slightly tart, a bit dry but rather sugary finish. Thin to medium body, a bit astringent and fairly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay, just not too sweet and quite refreshing, but totally lacking depth and intensity.

czlowiekwiadro (977) - POLAND - MAR 12, 2017

Bottle. Cherry Red. Pink head. Sweet overall but with a tart sour cherries fruit edge. Dry finish. Slightly medicinal. Rather reminiscent of Cherry Tunes sweets. Didn’t like it. (2008)
