Hazy orange coloured with a small white head.
Acidic roa of barnyard, wood and fruits.
Acidic flavour of barnyard, wood and fruits.
Very one dimensional acidic, and almost no complexity, I had expected much more.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottled (Thanks Jacob, 1999 vintage, rating #1800). Hazy pale nutbrown colour, minor head. Sour apricotty aroma, with some earthy hints. Flavour is sour fruity, almost like a white wine. Extremely dry lambic, but still refreshingly full of fruits and sourness. Just lovely. Good way of celebrating 1800 ratings.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: MAY 2, 2005 Bottled. Cloudy orange. Aroma of barnyard and lemon juice. Very acidic with clean, rounded mouthfeel. There’s sweet malt beneath the powerful acidity. Very flavourful, but not as complex and lively in mouthfeel as the best gueuzes I’ve had.
