Bouteille 33cl

UPDATED: FEB 23, 2018 Another thumbs up to a French beer. Lovely sweet hoppy aroma with a bitter sweet and fruity taste, lots of cloves in it as well. Full body and creamy. A really great beer .

Two bottles in a very nice French restaurant on Cockfosters. A good pour with a thick and very long lasting head. This had a chunky mouthfeel and strong flavours of yeast that were a perfect foil for the rich shin of pork dish that I had for my lunch. The abv was high, but this was akin to a wine and all the better for it. A good nose and a very nice taste. It really needed food.

Ricoh or Fosse M&S? October 2016. Bright gold with a slender white mousse. Aroma of peppery spice and banana candy. Pleasant mellow blonde with sweet banana esters, lemon puff and clove notes. Slick and full. Parsley and coriander herb hints. A bit generic but nothing to dislike.

Meget nem at helde indpå.

Butelka 330ml. Klarowny złoty kolor. Piana biała, średnia o drobnych pęcherzach, opada dość szybko. W zapachu kwiatowo-miodowe akcenty, słody,płatki kukurydziane. W smaku dużo słodyczy...wręcz przytłaczającej. Slody płatki kukurydziane i ziola.Niezbyt ciekawy posmak apteki i starych lekarstw.

Cloudy golden color with a foamy white lacing. Light carbonation produces small suspended bubbles without heavy carbonation on the palate. Terrifically light taste with just a hint of fruitiness. Perfect balance of hops which adds to the character but doesn’t overpower like so many other beers. I am glad I picked up a bottle! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, brought to me from France by Shawn and Melonie-- thanks!! Slightly hazy medium yellow hue with a lively white head that leaves delicate lace and retains thoroughly as a 5mm pad. Very estery, yeasty profile, light golden syrup, tinned pineapple, light clove. Mild-moderate bitterness in the finish. Not my preferred profile, but solid.
