After the beer was served in the glass there was found a lasting quantity wall adhesive white foam collar which was fine and even of structure. The beer also contained much carbonic acid in the glass. The beer has a thick pale and a sweet taste. The after tast of the beer is hoppy bitter with a light coriander touch . This beer smells lightly to coriander.

Aromas of orange and spice. Flavor has too much orange, I didn’t care for this beer much. White beers aren’t high on my list.

Drunk at the beautiful yard of the brewery. Very pale hazy yellow white beer, white head. Aroma of spices, some malt, citrus. Sweetish flavour, fruity, coriander and citrus. Quite thin body. Finish rather dry. Light and drinkable, this beer won’t offend anyone, but it’s rather hard to take a liking for it too.

9/08/2011 33cl bottle @ Erwin’s place - BB: 01/2011 (2011-372) Thanks (?) to Erwin for sharing the bottle!

Note: we only noticed afterwards the beer had expired. This one calls for a rerating, but as I read reviews with the same remarks, it’ll stand for now. I still need to come across the first non expired bottle.

Cloudy orange to beige beer, small off-white head, unstable. Aroma: lots of yeast, some spices, bit of citrus, but mainly yeast. MF: ok carbon, light to medium body. Taste: very sour start, citrus, vinegar, some spices. Beer has clearly gone bad. Calls for a review.

Bottle. It’s a hazy, yellowish white beer with a dense, two-finger white head leaving lacings. Citrus, coriander seeds and leaves, pale malts mash and hints of pineapples on the nose. The flavor has a bit too sweet fruityness, with coriander leaves and some bitterness. Thinish and quite dry on the palate, and tad heavy on the carbonation. Well, a drinkable beer it is, but certainly not my kind of witbier. 110502

(Bottled, BBE 07/2011) Opaque yellow with a small, vanishing head. Strongly spicy coriander-gingery-lemony nose. Flavor is also very spicy and lemony with ginger and coriander dominating, but also some wheaty maltiness present towards the drying finish. Medium body, lightly fizzy but balanced carbonation. A huge amount of aroma and flavor packed in a 4.8% witbier, without resorting to American hops or radical overspicing. The flavor is on the edge with the spiciness, but manages to remain balanced. After sampling the Brune, Blonde and this, I’m really beginning to love this brewery! 5345
