Bottle from Dranken Geers. Pale gold, cloudy, with thick white head. Lemony, wheaty, wit aroma. I’ve always had a soft spot for Belgian wits. This one has a certain personality and good balance of the requisite aromas and flavours. a little soap, but good lemon and very good wheat malt body. Decent sharp lemon on finish. Ratehr well made and tasty. yngwie (17109) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - AUG 6, 2011
Bottle. It’s a hazy, yellowish white beer with a dense, two-finger white head leaving lacings. Citrus, coriander seeds and leaves, pale malts mash and hints of pineapples on the nose. The flavor has a bit too sweet fruityness, with coriander leaves and some bitterness. Thinish and quite dry on the palate, and tad heavy on the carbonation. Well, a drinkable beer it is, but certainly not my kind of witbier. 110502 FatPhil (16689) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - FEB 10, 2008
330ml bottle (One Pint Pub, Helsinki, Belgian Week 2008) (sip)
Sweet fruity flowery and light. A bit thin and over-perfumed. A touch lemony too.
