Draft at the brewpub. djd07 (15651) - Houston, Texas, USA - NOV 28, 2016
Dark brown, light brown head that coats the glass in lace. Roasted malt, sweet coffee, some chocolate and molasses. Definitely leans sweet. Smooth and creamy. Soft and easy drinking. Pretty nice, but perhaps a touch sweet.
On tap at the brewery. Pours black with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is roast and cracker malt. Medium body, cocoa, cracker, light dry finish, good. jb (3426) - Rochester, New York, USA - JUL 7, 2016

On tap at Bellevue, pours a dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma is bland, with notes of toasted malt and light fruitiness. Flavour is decent, with notes of roast, red fruits and light cocoa. Decently balanced and medium bodied. Decent stout.

pours a dark brown with a large creamy tan head, and very good lacing. maxwelldeux (4433) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - FEB 25, 2014
smell is of come chocolate, some malt, and oats.
taste is a little thin, chocolate, malt, oats, and a touch of coffee. not as sour as I would have expected from an oatmeal but still a good brew.
Bottle. Pours a near-black color with a moderate tan head on it. Nose is predominantly roasty with a hint of bitterness, but a subtle molasses sweetness that comes through with some persistence. Taste has a bit of roasty bitterness up front, then finishes with just a bit of some licorice sweetness in there. Not bad until the finish. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - JAN 25, 2014
Bottle:   Black, cola hues, thin to moderate frothy light beige head, spotty lacing.   Soft sweet roasted malts.   A touch of chocolate and tootsie roll.   Very soft on the tongue, not very roasty, not all that big.   Very light example, but clean and smooth.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Finishes clean, soft roasted malts, smooth, silky, but not really heavy, not too roasty, witih a low hop profile.   I bet a good beginner Oatmeal Stout for those who are getting into beer. bhensonb (15843) - Woodland, California, USA - DEC 31, 2013
Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours very dark brown with a slight tan head. Aroma is chocolate over treacle. Light treacle. Med + body. Kinda fizzy carb. Flavor is treacle, chocolate, maybe hint of anise, seems to get coffee towards the finish. Fairly smooth. Fills the bill, style wise.
