Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours very dark brown with a slight tan head. Aroma is chocolate over treacle. Light treacle. Med + body. Kinda fizzy carb. Flavor is treacle, chocolate, maybe hint of anise, seems to get coffee towards the finish. Fairly smooth. Fills the bill, style wise. djd07 (15341) - Houston, Texas, USA - NOV 28, 2016

Draft at the brewery. Pours black with a small creamy tan head. Lots of drippy lace. Big roasty chocolatey nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Rich and well balanced roasty milk chocolate and cocoa mid palate that plays well off the fullness and silkiness of the body. Long cocoa finish.

Black body with tan foam. Nutty, chocolate, deep roast aromas. Smooth medium body. Smooth nutty, chocolate flavors with medium roast coffee___good. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - JAN 25, 2014
Bottle:   Black, cola hues, thin to moderate frothy light beige head, spotty lacing.   Soft sweet roasted malts.   A touch of chocolate and tootsie roll.   Very soft on the tongue, not very roasty, not all that big.   Very light example, but clean and smooth.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Finishes clean, soft roasted malts, smooth, silky, but not really heavy, not too roasty, witih a low hop profile.   I bet a good beginner Oatmeal Stout for those who are getting into beer. riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - MAR 29, 2013
Nose of roast oat sweetness dark chocolate earth and light sugars. Pours dark brown almost black with a nice tan head. Flavors are sweet and roasty with some chocolate earth and soft bitterness. Smooth with great drinkability. Solid beer. BrewDad (5328) - Olympia, Washington, USA - MAR 6, 2013
Dark black in color, thin tan head. Super Oatmeal Stout flavor and finish. Nice licorice and chocolate flavors and added coffee flavor. maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - FEB 25, 2014
Bottle. Pours a near-black color with a moderate tan head on it. Nose is predominantly roasty with a hint of bitterness, but a subtle molasses sweetness that comes through with some persistence. Taste has a bit of roasty bitterness up front, then finishes with just a bit of some licorice sweetness in there. Not bad until the finish.
