On tap at the Cork & Tap at the Bellevue Village QFC. Pours a dark amber with a very pleasent smell, and surprisingly smooth taste. Strong but not overpowering flavor of caramel melded with some hops. This is a nice ale. tcon25 (958) - Duvall, Washington, USA - MAR 18, 2015
Draft pour at brewery, amber pour, hoppy spice aroma, nice balance in flavor, little bit to this beer some hop flavor comes through with the spices. mcberko (19209) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 4, 2015
On tap at The Local, pours a hazy dark orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out light notes of caramel and a touch of wood. Flavour is along the same lines, with gentle caramel and bready notes. Not a robust scotch ale by any means, but rather a light and drinkable one. Solid stuff, just not what you expect from such a style. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - AUG 30, 2014
Bottle:   Bready and nutty, a little campfire and peat.   Pretty simple example.   Moderate to full body and mouthfeel.   Sweet bready finish, some caramel, campfire, and sweaty notes.   Lingering peat and campfire.   Nothing out of the ordinary, but a decent Scotch Quaffer. bhensonb (15858) - Woodland, California, USA - JUN 19, 2014
Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours dark brown with a creamy/foamy beige head. Aroma is malty. Somehow it has a cola note. And a grapey note. Med body or better. Flavor is grapey, malty with some earthiness. It is very tasty to me (just coming off a decent brown ale). I think there’s a very mild smoke note. Or not. There is certainly a nice fruit component. I’m really liking this.
