COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Made from mostly pale malt and some Munich and caramel malts. These add a little sweetness, which is balanced by more hops. The result is a rich color and fruity flavor.

Light golden color. Smells sweet. Taste is ok. I can taste tons of sweet malt but I wouldnt drink this all the time.

Not their best, but still an overall quality amber ale from a Class A brewer. Finish is a little off imho.

Cloudy amber color. Sweet aroma. Taste is smooth and sweet, but not overpoweringly so.

Draft @ Bell’s Eccentric Cafe: Slightly hazed amber color with a medium sized off-white head. Very malty. Caramel and some fruit in both the flavor and aroma. Light bitterness in the finish.

This tastes like a quality brew, but they said it had a sweetness and based on that I bought some. It was too hoppy to really be sweet. The malts didn’t really "balance" the hops flavor either, in my opinion. By being adaptable and changing my expectations based on what I now know to be true about this brew, I will gladly finish the six pack, since, after all, it is quality brew. However, I wasn’t really after the bitter hops flavor at all, so I feel its misrepresented.

average amber...typical reddish copper body with little head...aroma is of caramel and sugary malts with a touch of floral hops...flavor is similar but seems more dominated by the hops than the aroma would suggest...nice malt/hop complex...no 3.5 however

Thin, white head atop a light copper hue. Caramel malt aroma along with some soft fruit. Fair amount of sweetness introduces the malty taste with the hoppiness coming on stronger near the finish. Good example of the style.

CMUBEERMAN (457) - - APR 21, 2006
This is pretty good for an amber. Pours a clear orangish copper and has a white head. Aroma is malt, earth, and sweet citrus. Flavor is sweet creamy malts and some brief grassy hops. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied...and a bit oily.

bu11zeye (13239) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - APR 18, 2006
(Bottle) Pours a clear copper body with a moderate off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt, grass, and light citrus. Flavor of caramel and mild hops.

Beautiful amber color with lots of bubbles and a nice long lasting white head with good lacing. Aroma was moderately hoppy while flavor was lightly bitter. This ale was very creamy on the palate with lively carbonation and a nice clean crisp finish. an execllent choice for an amber ale.
