Made from mostly pale malt and some Munich and caramel malts. These add a little sweetness, which is balanced by more hops. The result is a rich color and fruity flavor.

Pours a medium amber color. Smells very roasty and the malt backbone is deep. Great amber ale.

Nice deep amber with a short tan head. Aroma of caramel, biscuits. Light mouthfeel with low carbonation. Get some cocoa nibs and some bittering on finish. Pretty nice.

Bottle: Pours a nice reddish copper color with a light tan head. Aromas come off as primarily sweet bread, but there is some nice citrusy fruit going on there too. Taste is very good, exactly what Iíd refer to as "easy drinking" there is a bit of a grassy earthy quality that comes in on the taste that I didnít get in the aroma. Very good, but not really anything flashy or exciting.

5.8%ABV. †Amber Ale. Poured out of the bottle a rich cloudy amber. †14ļSRM, Nose has sweet well-roasted malty aroma. Maybe residual aroma of ripe oranges or tangerines. Mouthfeel is sudsy and full-bodied. There are some nice graham cracker, wheat toast and toasted almond flavors. †There are some other nutty flavors of hazelnuts and acorns. Finish is abbreviated and clean. †No hop character. My favorite of Bellís creations.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12 oz bottle into a pint glass. The label has a packaged on date and an abv of 5.8%. Appearance: The body has a dark brownish amber color with a light haze and a creamy tall light tan head on top. Itís head fades slow and makes nice lacing on the glass. Smell: I get some sweet maltiness and doughy bready notes. I also pick up a slight orange rind note from the hops. Taste / Palate: This one has light and balanced mix of sweet bready maltiness and orange rind like hop bitterness. The feel is fairly light and softly carbonated.

From tap, pours a nice copper color with little head. Taste is sweet caramel malt, nutty, with a little hop kick before finish. As expected, but a decent example of the style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap, poured into a shaker. The aroma is a sharp berry note that fades and reveals caramel, nuts, wood, and light citrus. The beer is clear with (go figure) and amber hue, and is topped by a dense, white head that has moderate retention, but very little lace. The taste is a medium sweet with a subtle, medium light bitter. The texture is oily, with fizzy carbonation and a light body. Flavors of grain, caramel, bitter citrus, and bread crust emerge first, and finishes crisp with woody notes, as well as coffee, subtle citrus, and light nuts. The aftertaste is lightly sticky with bitter citrus, rye bread crust, and a light medicinal lingering.
