Made from mostly pale malt and some Munich and caramel malts. These add a little sweetness, which is balanced by more hops. The result is a rich color and fruity flavor.

Smooth ale with a clean finish that pairs well with most meals. I will certainly keep this one in rotation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Deep , amber color. Medium-sized, off-white head . Aroma of bread , caramel malt and hint of citrus. Sweet, malty taste with toasted caramel notes and mild hoppy bitterness for balance. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at The Exchange in Corpus. Pours dark amber. Aroma of toasted caramel and bread. Tastes toasty and lightly sweet. Medium bodied and pretty smooth.

12floz bottle with a BOD: 02.21.2017. Paid about $1.75 for a single (I’ve had before, and generally costs about $10 for a six-pack). A fine looking copper ale with a good one-finger beige head that laces the glass. The nose is a carnival of butterscotch and cotton candy-like aromas. Palate is well-balanced, which is to say malty by today’s American craft beer standards. Flavor is like biscuits covered in sweet cream butter. I’ve always enjoyed this beer for it excellence in the basics.

How have I never rated this? Bottle. Poured an amber color with an off white head. Toasted grains, caramel, and a lighter citrus.

Pours a hazy amber color with a medium off white head that left some nice lacing around the glass. The aroma is caramel, lots of breadiness, sweet malts. The flavor is also very similar to the aroma. There is not much for a hop presence. There is some honey notes kinda hidden in there as well. The drinkability is high and the mouthfeel is more on the lighter side.

Robe ambrée et trouble. Pas mal de dépôt en suspension. La mousse tient peu. Arômes forts de levure et caramel. Goût biscuit, caramel et levure. L’amertume est légèrement relevée. Dommage que la levure soit omniprésente.
