(bottled & bottle conditioned). Faintly sweet malt aroma, cloudy lighter-than-copper color (which is very attractive). Moderate body with a slightly sweet pale malty tinge. Nice clean bitterness fades shortly after the finish. Moderate carbonation adds to the body perception. I'd like to see this in a filtered version. YnotABeer (96) - Missouri, USA - MAR 2, 2003
on tap. nice. yeasty and hearty with a neat hazy orange/brown color but still goes down smooth with a little sweetness and a pleasant touch of hops. GuinnessGal (93) - Virginia, USA - MAR 11, 2010
Poured from a bottle a cloudy orange/amber with little head. Has a little hop bite at the end. It’s a nice amber ale! efdejesus (93) - Naperville, Illinois, USA - MAR 3, 2011
12 oz poured into a pint glass. Appearance is a clear amber color with a medium off white head. Little retention. Aromas of carmels and malts. Nice sweet malty taste throughout. Not much hop character. Easy drinkability. A nice beer. lobosaintori (89) - - OCT 10, 2015
Pours a hazy golden color with a small white head. Aroma is moderate with scents of white grapes and biscuits. Flavour is mild with touches of berries. has a dry finish overall not bad.

I enjoyed this beer. It had a sweet aroma with a nice brown color and creamy white head. It was a tasty drink overall with a mild malty flavor. Cheers! McKnizzle69 (89) - Machesney Park, Illinois, USA - MAR 17, 2005

slightly sweet flavor, pale malts; not bad but would not be first choice when seeking out an amber style ale.
