Appearance is a clear amber/light brown with a slightly off white foam cap. Aroma is toasted, roasty caramel malt with no noticeable hops. Taste is sweet caramel malt that gives way to toasted notes and a crisp hop bite to balance it out with a slight citrus flavor. Mouthfeel is medium with normal carbonation. Finish is well balanced with a slight drying character. Overall a well made American amber
Bottle at The Exchange in Corpus. Pours dark amber. Aroma of toasted caramel and bread. Tastes toasty and lightly sweet. Medium bodied and pretty smooth. balloonbuffoon (263) - - MAY 8, 2017
12floz bottle with a BOD: 02.21.2017. Paid about $1.75 for a single (I’ve had before, and generally costs about $10 for a six-pack). A fine looking copper ale with a good one-finger beige head that laces the glass. The nose is a carnival of butterscotch and cotton candy-like aromas. Palate is well-balanced, which is to say malty by today’s American craft beer standards. Flavor is like biscuits covered in sweet cream butter. I’ve always enjoyed this beer for it excellence in the basics. hopdog (12341) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 28, 2017
How have I never rated this? Bottle. Poured an amber color with an off white head. Toasted grains, caramel, and a lighter citrus. Brandon1989 (655) - Lewisville, Texas, USA - APR 23, 2017
Pours a hazy amber color with a medium off white head that left some nice lacing around the glass. The aroma is caramel, lots of breadiness, sweet malts. The flavor is also very similar to the aroma. There is not much for a hop presence. There is some honey notes kinda hidden in there as well. The drinkability is high and the mouthfeel is more on the lighter side. lbianchi66 (390) - FRANCE - APR 21, 2017
Robe ambrée et trouble. Pas mal de dépôt en suspension. La mousse tient peu. Arômes forts de levure et caramel. Goût biscuit, caramel et levure. L’amertume est légèrement relevée.
Dommage que la levure soit omniprésente.

Shared 12 oz. bottle. Pale amber, off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel. Taste is malt, caramel, bread, nuts. Decent. darbeer75 (887) - Round Rock, Texas, USA - MAR 31, 2017
Aroma: burnt caramel maltiness; Appearance: hazy amber pour with thin white head that dissipates quickly; Taste: follows nose with even more malt; Palate: medium-heavy body with long, sweet finish; Overall: not my favorite style, but probably the best amber I’ve had. Draft at Growlers - Pours a dark amber color, tinted. Aroma is bready, sweet malts with dark fruit, plum. Pretty easy to drink, definite spice to it which distinguishes it from others of the style. Not bad. tia (2160) - Sandston, Virginia, USA - MAR 15, 2017
