The aroma was pleasant. I would barely call the appearance red. It had very little carbonation. Dextolen (151) - Michigan, USA - OCT 6, 2004
Bottle. Poured a cloudy pale amber. I was shocked at the amount of yeast/sediment, which I did not expect in an amber ale. Nice off white head. Aromas were all citrus, mainly lemon. The taste was overwhelmingly lemony, more like an iced tea than an amber ale. Extremely hoppy. I was somewhat disappointed. This is more like an IPA, which would have been fine if that was what I was in the mood for/expecting. Bigassfish (140) - Naperville/Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 31, 2005
Pours carmely redish color with tall white head. Nice hops flavor OlivierMTL (709) - Quebec, CANADA - AUG 14, 2005
Pleasing look. Amber color with a nice head.
Looks better then it tastes. Not much of a WOW factor. Seems to have an abudance of hops and malts, but nothing prominent. I wouldn’t drink more than one at a time. Maybe best for me for an after dinner drink. My wife enjoyed this more, so I’ll likely be trying this again.

Pours a nice amber, with a slim head but clinging lace. Aroma is strawberry malt with hops afterthoughts. Bits of cereal interdispersed as well. Flavor is a blunt fruity malt flavor, with touches of hops and bitters. Palate suits. Another quality brew from Bells.
poured a nice copper color with a sweet aroma. Was pretty cloudy with sediment. Flavor is sweet with a hops bite. Palate was fair, nothing special. Good but not the best amber ale bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - APR 18, 2006
(Bottle) Pours a clear copper body with a moderate off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt, grass, and light citrus. Flavor of caramel and mild hops. awaisanen (1304) - Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 8, 2006
From 12oz Bottle. Pale, golden hazy pour with a tinge of amber and a white soapy head. Some vegetable aromas give it a smell of sweet corn and grassy hops, but are balanced out by some brown sugary apricot notes as well. Pleasantly malty without being overdone, and contains a nice citrusy orange hops kiss. Final smack of floral lavendar petals and fruity apple blossoms. chimpscampee (566) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 18, 2006
sweet carmel malty brw with foamy light body. Remined me of lake louie premium larger a bit.
