Botte. Pours a deep amber with a decent white head. The aroma consists of malts and sweet bread. The taste is subdued, some sweet malts, a bit of hops, some bready parts, and maybe a light side of fruit. Easy to drink and smooth. Nothing too special though. Nice aroma of hops and grain. Flavor was leveled nicely. Good beer. I wouldn’t go out of my way to buy again but still good. Guerde (1297) - Leuven, BELGIUM - JAN 24, 2008
(bottle thanks OSLO) Pours orange with a small off-white head. Aroma had faint hops in the beginning, but then switched to more grainy and sweet. The taste was quite sweet with caramel and the finish had a lingering bitterness. This beer was pretty good. Cobra (1100) - - JAN 29, 2008
12 oz. brown, longneck bottle. 8208 on back label. Poured out a light brown color, with a sticky tan colored head. Aromas are hops first, followed by caramel. Flavors are of hops & caramel as well. Medium mouthfeel, decent body. A little too hoppy for the style, but that’s just my opinion.

Aug. 2006 - A different take on an amber. Poured dark orange color with nice head and lacing. Aroma is just sweet malt. The flavor was sweet biscuit, caramel with a grapefruit/citrus hop finish. The beer was both too sweet and too hoppy. The flavors didn’t blend well for me. It gets points for not being a boring amber, I just didn’t dig it all that much. tyler_mn (2464) - SLP, Minnesota, USA - MAR 21, 2008
12oz bottle. Simple toasted bready malt with some toffee and earthy and grassy hops on the nose. Pours a bright copper with a thin white head. Toasted bready malt with some grassy and hay hop notes on the tongue. Lively, crisp and wholly inoffensive, just not too much going on. gabrielsyme (66) - Ohio, USA - MAR 27, 2008
On Draft. Reddish gold color, Slightly sweet malt start with a bitter finish. BuckeyeSammy (617) - Palo Alto, Ohio, USA - MAR 29, 2008
I can see this be a session beer, high drinkability. Well, its a little watery. Malty. Modest carbonation. shackinetics (132) - Florida, USA - APR 3, 2008
Pours a misty copper with small off white head. Some visible yeast particles. Caramel malt aroma with fruit tones. Mildly sweet flabors with some apple caramel bite. More sophisticated than most ambers. I also found it to be a little low on carbonation... Good beer.
