Pleasing look. Amber color with a nice head.
Looks better then it tastes. Not much of a WOW factor. Seems to have an abudance of hops and malts, but nothing prominent. I wouldnít drink more than one at a time. Maybe best for me for an after dinner drink. My wife enjoyed this more, so Iíll likely be trying this again. KAggie97 (3529) - Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA - MAR 4, 2006

Pours a nice amber, with a slim head but clinging lace. Aroma is strawberry malt with hops afterthoughts. Bits of cereal interdispersed as well. Flavor is a blunt fruity malt flavor, with touches of hops and bitters. Palate suits. Another quality brew from Bells.
poured a nice copper color with a sweet aroma. Was pretty cloudy with sediment. Flavor is sweet with a hops bite. Palate was fair, nothing special. Good but not the best amber ale bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - APR 18, 2006
(Bottle) Pours a clear copper body with a moderate off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt, grass, and light citrus. Flavor of caramel and mild hops. awaisanen (1304) - Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 8, 2006
From 12oz Bottle. Pale, golden hazy pour with a tinge of amber and a white soapy head. Some vegetable aromas give it a smell of sweet corn and grassy hops, but are balanced out by some brown sugary apricot notes as well. Pleasantly malty without being overdone, and contains a nice citrusy orange hops kiss. Final smack of floral lavendar petals and fruity apple blossoms.

sweet carmel malty brw with foamy light body. Remined me of lake louie premium larger a bit. Stine (1780) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - SEP 23, 2006
Sweet caramel malt flavor tinged with yeast and fruit. Simple, substantial brew. edfitz (118) - Toledo, Ohio, USA - SEP 23, 2006
Very smooth poor and taste. You will not find a higher quality amber. This is my favorite brewer in this style. bigcat03 (317) - Columbus, Nebraska, USA - FEB 15, 2007
Bottle from Hy-Vee poured into english pint - Pours a cloudy amber with a 1 finger off-white head; A nutty, malty, toasty aroma with a certain sweetness to the nose; Gentle grassy hops and a big malt note on the initial taste; Nutty, toasty, dry aftertaste with some faint hops; Good medium body; Carbonation was present but not intrusive; Got some sediment accidentally. A lot nuttier than other ambers Iíve tried. Not bad at all. BDR (2534) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - JUN 30, 2007
Orange amber body with massive foamy white head. Very faint head. Watery body with malt flavor and faint hop bite.
