COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Made from mostly pale malt and some Munich and caramel malts. These add a little sweetness, which is balanced by more hops. The result is a rich color and fruity flavor.

sweet carmel malty brw with foamy light body. Remined me of lake louie premium larger a bit.

Very smooth poor and taste. You will not find a higher quality amber. This is my favorite brewer in this style.

Poured from bottle, a hazy amber color. Aroma if malts, sugar. Taste is malty and sweet, with slight hops at the end. Not a favorite. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Appearance is a clear amber/light brown with a slightly off white foam cap. Aroma is toasted, roasty caramel malt with no noticeable hops. Taste is sweet caramel malt that gives way to toasted notes and a crisp hop bite to balance it out with a slight citrus flavor. Mouthfeel is medium with normal carbonation. Finish is well balanced with a slight drying character. Overall a well made American amber

DocJitsu (1974) - Pensacola, Florida, USA - DEC 3, 2013
Pours a very murky amber-golden color with a half finger beige head. Mild toffee, grass, and fried egg nose. Nearly viscous mouthfeel with too much prickly, effervescent carbonation. Toffee, orange, and grassy flavors.

Bottle. Slightly hazy dark amber colour. Muted aroma but there is some floral hops and caramel with a hint of roast. Medium body, watery mid-palate and a slightly bitter finish. I find this not overly enjoyable.

Des malts caramélisé délicatement, des houblons humides dans un corps croustillant teinté d’un minuscule sucre résiduel.

I am a big amber ale and ale fan. This offering is good, it's just not my favorite. I prefer Left Hand's All American Ale, but this Bells can do the job. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

"wish list cross-off from pfoxyjohn. unfortunately, i was a little underwhelmed by this one. not expecting greatness, but hoping for a favorite or near favorite for the style. pours a murky amber with a nice looking head. flavor is mostly malt, as is the flavor, and just wasn’t complex, bright, or hoppy enough to do much for me. not bad, but i’ve had much better in the style. 1st disappointment from Kalamazoo
