Pours a very murky amber-golden color with a half finger beige head. Mild toffee, grass, and fried egg nose. Nearly viscous mouthfeel with too much prickly, effervescent carbonation. Toffee, orange, and grassy flavors. Bendrixian (1514) - Canadiana, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 13, 2014
Bottle. Slightly hazy dark amber colour. Muted aroma but there is some floral hops and caramel with a hint of roast. Medium body, watery mid-palate and a slightly bitter finish. I find this not overly enjoyable. Marheb (5903) - San Diego, California, USA - APR 29, 2014
Des malts caramélisé délicatement, des houblons humides dans un corps croustillant teinté d’un minuscule sucre résiduel. AJK9600 (20) - Illinois, USA - SEP 24, 2014
I am a big amber ale and ale fan. This offering is good, it's just not my favorite. I prefer Left Hand's All American Ale, but this Bells can do the job.

"wish list cross-off from pfoxyjohn. unfortunately, i was a little underwhelmed by this one. not expecting greatness, but hoping for a favorite or near favorite for the style. pours a murky amber with a nice looking head. flavor is mostly malt, as is the flavor, and just wasn’t complex, bright, or hoppy enough to do much for me. not bad, but i’ve had much better in the style. 1st disappointment from Kalamazoo

A nice amber ale. Somewhat carmel taste. Nice aftertaste and good color. Nice aroma and poors really well. SG111 (1936) - New York, USA - APR 7, 2015
On tap at Brewvine, Long Island. Pours caramel color, off white creamy head. Aroma is sweet caramel malt, very mild hop character. Flavor is hoppier than the Aroma would suggest, still a lot of caramel malt sweetness. Bitter finish. bvbunited (72) - Ohio, USA - MAY 16, 2015
Average amber ale this beer lacks taste. Very little hoppy flavor. Color is good little aroma. Bells could do better. lawman834 (268) - Texas, USA - OCT 12, 2015
Hazy copper colored with no head. Smells of pine and biscuit. Taste is slightly sweet with caramel malt and plenty of grassy hops on the finish. A decent brew but a little boring. Bricks (1140) - Delaware, USA - DEC 4, 2015
Smells of malt and slight hops. Appearance is a medium brown. Sweet, malty, hoppy taste. Fair amber ale.
