On tap at Bells. Smells like dirt and coffee. Simply put it tastes like a Baltic porter. Coffee, some blood and a bandaid. Mediocre at best. fattybladdy (628) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - APR 14, 2013
Draft sampler @ Bell’s. Dark translucent brown in color. Taste is chocolate, roasted malt, rich, nutty. A bit thin but not bad. charule (2277) - New York, New York, USA - MAR 31, 2013

Draft to taster at the Eccentric Cafe. Looks decent; pretty thin though. A transparent brown with thin off-white lacing. Smells solid; dark malt and roast. Tastes like it smells, but surprisingly smooth; the roast is more subdued and gives way to a semi-sweet malty backbone with notes of chocolate. Not bad. bwa5879 (949) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - MAR 14, 2013
On tap at eccentric cafe. Dark brown/black pour with little to no head. Light brown hue. Sweet vanilla, licorice, and a scant bonfire scent. Flavors of wood smoked bbq, maple syrup and some sour malt. Overall good porter. Tmoney99 (14755) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 10, 2013
Tap sample. Poured dark clear brown color with an average frothy tan head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted malt and chocolate aroma. Medium body with a dry smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium dark sweet flavor with medium dark sweet finish of moderate duration. Soft beer. badnewsbeers (2312) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - MAY 19, 2010
Tap a while back. Boring brown body with tiny head. Aroma of weak chocolate, grain and cereal. Flavor is watered down Choco porter with hints of spice. Watery. BeerBaron617 (358) - Royal Oak, Michigan, USA - MAR 2, 2010
Had this on tap at the brew "cafe" They should really bottle this stuff. In comparison, I think it’s better than K Zoo stout. Very, very tasty stuff! Cheers, and thanks to the nice folks from western ichigan who bought me the glass!
